_Nite_ Madrias I'm lightly nervous, actually. I've had the gut feeling there was a mild conspiracy behind the scenes, and the plot slowly unravels. Let's see if my old guessing skills can come up with what the prize is... to be honest, I'm betting it will be a full built computer setup. If anyone here needs a tricked out more modern computer system it's you especially Yeah, but that'd be expensive, so I kinda ruled it out. Could be a GPU, seeing as that's common in contests. Now if it were down to what exactly I want, I would personally be hoping for a nice desktop replacement laptop with a nice i7 in it, but I know the price on one of those, properly configured to what I would want, would be about $5000, so I know it's not one of those.

It's a little fuzzy at full screen, but not awful. I can still read most stuff. Then again, it's full screen on a 1440x900 screen.

I'm in the same boat from the 10~10~10, but that is water under the bridge. Just caught a bit of the stream at the end and it looks like your name was near the top.

Remember to keep an eye on which prize pool you are selecting from. The 8800s I donated are in the General pool. However, mramzi could have selected the 8800 that zophar had donated. Since the next selection has already been made, I believe he has lost his chance if he wanted it.

Now that we're almost a week into the prize distribution quick question for everyone: Do you prefer this method of distributing prizes over the previous method? Can it be further improved or do you have a better system in mind? I know its a bit slower in determining prizes, but the goal was that everyone ends up with something they can use.

although I like the method for prize assignment/selection, will withhold judgment pending actual distribution, This may be difficult for those with prizes to send to research, who, what , where, and actual distribute. although , I always look at the prizes in these contests, a gravy anyway, If I get it fine, great, if it does not show up, I'm not going to let it spoil my day. But I would be looking at it in a deferent light, had I won a GPU, Congrats, and Gratitude, to all the winners, Thanks to all donators, participants, and of course to all arrangers, and facilitators.

The way things are going, its kind of up to the winner and the donor to get together and coordinate the distribution. I can set in and facilitate this if necessary, but things should run fine without mediation so I don't see the need for a middle man. It did not even cross my mind that people would renege on the donations they said they would make. If anyone is having trouble receiving a prize they won, please let me know about it.

^ in the past, I do not think it was a matter of people renegeing, but rather, it got set on a back burner, then over time, became less of a issue, and eventualy got forgatton. I would not ever suspect intintion, as a general rule, this form does not draw those type of people. Folders are the cream of the crop, and those that donate and give, are Crem de la crem

I just guess with two prize pools having to wait for someone to choose what the want them getting assigned numbers from what 6million.......Just to much, simple is better. Example 10 people 10 numbers each in a different hat pull out a name pull out a number and bam their is your prize selection order. I thank you for putting this together and we really did boost production so it was a overwhelming success. Just need some tweaking but hey nothing is perfect and you can't please everyone. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow and just don't care about prizes and that stuff. The best prize we could ever have is findng a cure!

I would definitely change the time limit to select a prize to 24 hours. That would help speed things up a bit. Other than that, I like that you can select something you need or can use if its available.
