For those having issues with wrong fonts/font errors/browser errors after uninstalling EVGA PrecisionX 16.
 
Risking redundancy, I know this issue has been addressed in a few other threads that people are either failing to find, or search for, or are having a problem finding the proper font file so I'm making it available, again.
 
When installing EVGA PrecisionX 16, the original Windows\Fonts\Arial Bold (arialbd.ttf) font file is replaced with a shortcut to EVGA PrecisionX 16's own font file of Arial Bold called arialbd_B located in Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision x16\Fonts..After uninstalling EVGA PrecisionX 16, the shortcut to Precision x16's arialbd_B font file, as well as the arialbd_B font file itself, is also uninstalled leaving Windows without an Arial Bold font file which causes issues..The Arial Bold (arialbd.ttf) font file must be reinstalled into the Windows\Fonts\Arial file again.
 
You can fix this by downloading the original Windows Arial Bold (arialbd.ttf) font file I have made available here on Microsoft OneDrive, then open the Windows\Fonts\Arial file and put the Arial Bold (arialbd.ttf) font file into it where it will auto-install itself..Done.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I noticed that my fonts have changed but didn't understand why.
 

Another example of mainland Chinese QC/QA practices ... and I'm old enough to remember the same comments about Japanese QC/QA practices after WW II as Japan was rebuilding its bombed out heavy industry.
 
My point is that all too many of us drive Camry's now-a-days proving that the Japanese learned about QC/QA practices and so will the mainland Chinese if they want to retain the business contracts they acquired by under-bidding (by deliberately low-balling bid prices) their competition.

And as for you EVGA - 5.2.0 is a bloated piece of trash! What right did you have meddling in my system files to begin with? Sack whoever was responsible for that garbage.  I'm back to 4.2.1, and not upgrading for the foreseeable future.

Thank you! Been wondering why the hell I had a fat font all over the place in Chrome. I was really here to post about the new EVGA x16 hogging almost a gigabyte of ram. Needless to say I wont even use X 16 anymore.
