Hi folks, i've owned my EVGA products over the year and they have been rock solid, very happy with them and they are always performing above my standards.  I had to get in touch with a rep about my 780Ti hydro copper, as it would crash when i play games after 10 minutes or so.  Everything freeze up and i have to do a hard reboot and restart the computer.  Then sometimes when i load a game and track the OSD, the clock would be stuck at 549mhz, other times at 900mhz, no matter what value i set in Precision X or MSI afterburner.  Anyone experience something like this?

Anyways so the rep told me to send the card in, they received the card on Wednesday the 27th, today is saturday the 30th and i haven't received an update yet so i was wondering when should i expect to hear back from them.  I've never done this before so what will happen, will they try to fix my car, give me another 780ti, or something else?  Thanks, just eager to get a card back so i can start gaming again.

Here's my card.

It looks like your card was received on the 27th; it can then take 1-3 business days for processing, and the replacement will then be sent out. Since it wasn't shipped Friday it should ship out on Monday.

    Nice rig mate.
The turn around is generally not that long from my experience.  I think once they receive your card, it gets tested  (processing) then depending on the result from that, a replacement either gets shipped to you or not but generally you'll get an update by Monday end of day latest and so far customer service is really good so no need to worry.

Thanks guys, i guess i'll wait a little longer.  The video card was supposed to reach EVGA last monday but the east coast was crapped on by 30" of snow, so it was delayed until wednesday.

That is nice looking. When are you going to create a Mods-Rigs page for it so we can all give you a '+1' for doing a good job?

Happy to report that they shipped out the card yesterday. Took longer than expected but they said the hydro copper block needed extensive testing so that's what was happening. Anyways great customer service and it's things like this that makes me an EVGA fan for all my computer needs.

    That's Lian-Li Wall Mounted case...
I like that case... Much better than Thermaltake version.
Special is nice version where ATX PSU could fit. PC-O6S...
Because inside EVGA Power supplies are visible and it's perfect for mATX boards.
    Everything could fit, aluminum...
X99 mATX board, Hydro Copper card, special new version with EVGA name on block... ATX PSU, sleeve cables, 360mm radiator.
Perfect for powerful RIGs. There are place for two Hydro Copper cards in PC-O6S version and enough space even for TITAN Z Hydro Copper.

Hey guys, little update, EVGA sent me a replacement card and so far it was performed flawlessly.  I'll miss my 780ti but this card will do, the block was different so i had to redo the entire loop, it was worth it though because that gave me a chance to clean out my blocks as well.  This is the way she sits now, lean mean gaming machine :)...let me know what you guys think.  Thanks to EVGA again for taking care of their customers, i've owned 15-20 EVGA brand stuff, 1 RMA out of that batch isn't bad.

There seems to be some concern about the logo not lighting up as bright as shown in other units. Is this a simple problem to fix or is another RMA required to get his EVGA logo lit up?

I'm not entirely done with the build yet, just wanted to rig everything up and get it running and tested.  I will then cycle a few more liters of clear DI water through the loop and flush out the blue dye from the last build, then i'm going with white pastel coolant.  I'll clean up the wires, add more lights, and do a proper photoshoot...you can see more of the computer once i remove the reflective tempered glass window..

    Nice looking rig as always..
Ditto on the evga cards, all the evga cards I've had in the past have always been good. I still have my 760 and 950 SC purring like kittens in my media server pc without a hitch but mind you all my cards have bought from brand new, that could be why.
What the card in your right now...?

    4gb, don't think there's an 8gb Nvidia card..

Under load gaming 4K games, 50C max temp, the 780Ti Hydro was in the 70s...my case is like a dutch oven, no fans in there...so it'll be lower if you had a better case.

Yeah, sorry it was a typo, I meant the 6gb.
hmm, I was kinda expecting the 980 hydro to be lower since they're supposed to use less power than the 780s. Before I had my 780ti Kingpins, I had 780ti SLi, both water cooled using a 480 radiator (external mind you with 8 fans on a push and pull), single loop. Both temps never go above 42C on 4k gaming even after like 6hours on a 24/7 rig, but since you said the case is already like a oven (mine is 00D), I guess that makes sense.
Will you upgrade the case or stay with that..?

I'm really interested in your build progress, I looks soo clean and professional.

Thank you for the kind words, this was actually my first time watercooling, i learned everything from youtube, and a lot of practice i was able to make the bends straight.  This case is rather annoying to work on because there's just no room to do anything, and my tubing hit each other so i had to find ways to go around it.  If you look, i had to go around the ram for the outlet tube, then the return line i had to duck under the outlet line, incline it a little, then veer hard to the right to get to the res which is hidden behind..the GPU to CPU line i had to fit in between the bottom of the ram and the top of the other fitting.  It took me a long time, wasted like 3 feet of tubing.  Once i have everything completed i'll make a build thread.

I bought this case because of the way it looks...i knew airflow was nonexistent coming into it but 50C under load is still very safe to operate on, so i don't think i'll change the case soon.  When i get bored i'll change up again.

Yes, this case is fantastic, no words really. I don't plan to change case, but now I would probably upgrade on similar only little bigger model. For mATX boards. PC-O6S. Really excellent case, and fantastic RIG, only I prefer mATX not Mini ITX. I saw very small number of people to buy Lian-Li Wall Mounted, most of customers decide to go on Thermaltake, and they can't compare at all.

I think same, on Hydro Copper block should be visible LED as here...

My opinion is that EVGA Logo should be only little smaller on new generation of cards.

That is a great looking rig

Yes, this case is fantastic, no words really. I don't plan to change case, but now I would probably upgrade on similar only little bigger model. For mATX boards. PC-O6S. Really excellent case, and fantastic RIG, only I prefer mATX not Mini ITX. I saw very small number of people to buy Lian-Li Wall Mounted, most of customers decide to go on Thermaltake, and they can't compare at all.

I think same, on Hydro Copper block should be visible LED as here...

My opinion is that EVGA Logo should be only little smaller on new generation of cards.
Not to much and with same effect.

I also own an 06S, i love these cases, will do a full custom loop in that one and not an expanded AIO like i did with the 05S...i have a couple video cards laying around i can toss in there...

    On table look even better.
I like because Lian-Li only build aluminum case and that's their style.
They make and some not so nice case, there are a lot of models with PSU on very bad position but this PC-O6S and PC-X510 are amazing.
OK Caselabs is even better but I think on brand available worldwide.

PC-O6S is better because you can use ATX PSU, that mean a lot.
Much better PSU. You plan to install 360mm radiator and D5 pump.
Check on EKWB site, their new X-RES Revo D5 is nice combination between D5 pump and Glass reservoir.
And one of three top ports could serve as inlet. Maybe that could help you in this case.
I still like more normal tubes than acrylic.. I don't know why...

Updated pic of the 980 Hydro EVGA sent me...coil whine is there but pretty much every card i've had, made some kind of noises...looks and perform awesome though.

This is my main rig now, the other one will be a backup when if i have downtime from redoing lines or other mods that might take too long...  It's almost done, still waiting for the EK Monoblock and then redo the lines and bolt everything back up.  Custom sleeving as well.

Yes you pass well, they send you series 900.
That's nice. I'm really glad because of you...

Example I didn't pass so well, I got broken card again. Never mind.
I would not RMA again NEVER. NEVER, I mean really.
That would be same as they send K|NGP|N series 900 to me.
I will remember than when NVIDIA launch TITAN X2 Pascal and when I need to pay 1000-1200 euro.
If I see EVGA for 900 and ASUS for 1300 I will buy ASUS.
After everything I would felt so bad to give 1$ to EVGA than I can't describe that will words how I would felt bad.
