Hey guys, got my birthday gift 2 days after my b-day but in this case it was def worth the wait. Love the look of this card, and the way the lighting looks in my case. It's a beast as well, I upgraded from a R9 390. This card runs so much cooler and quieter. Highest I've seen so far is 75c during 3dmark vs ~83c on my 390. Fans are completely silent as well, my MSI 390 wasn't super loud but you could def hear it when running a game. This thing maxes everything out and runs its smooth as butter. Love it! When I logged into my EVGA account I saw that this is my first EVGA card since the 8800 GT that showed up on my account! Forgot all about that thing lol.

<--- You can see my rig specs on the Mods rigs badge to the right

Also I know these cards can be hard to find. This has probably been posted before here, but I managed to get my card from newegg thanks to this handy little site.

Best of luck to anyone still trying to snag a card, hope you get it soon!

Edit: I keep trying to post two links but they disappear after I save changes, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Can't post links until after your 11th post shows.  In the meantime, just put a space after the http:// and everyone will figure it out.

Grats on your card.

I know that feeling man. I sold my 390X about 2 weeks ago. So I have been running on intel integrated graphics since then. Gave up trying to do any gaming after it couldn't even handle SUPERHOT, kept crashing even at 800x600 lol. So it's been no PC gaming for me till my EVGA card came in today.

Keep your eye out on that, nowinstock.net site . If you make a free account there you can set it up to send you alerts to your phone I think. But that site is how I was able to grab my EVGA card from Newegg. Also when you can keep a eye on the comments section on the 1080 page, sometimes the people in the comments section can let you know when somethings in stock before the tracker updates.

Got a few questions for everyone. I'm new to EVGA Precision software, been using MSI Afterburner for a long time. I downloaded Precision X OC, and got it running just fine. I was wondering though if there is anyway to detach the monitoring section into a window like with MSI Afterburner? If there is I must be overlooking it. I can't seem to get the OSD to toggle on and off either. Its just stuck on, even when I hit the keyboard shortcut I assigned to toggle it off and on.

Also I'm a little new to GPU overclocking. I mainly just want to bump the clock speed to match the FTW version. Since it's only 13 Mhz faster is all I have to do is set "GPU Clock Offset" to +13Mhz and hit apply?

Thanks!

On the previous version you could double click on the graphs and it would open up on it's on window.  I'm not sure if the toggle is working.  I didn't have much success either.  I dedicated another button so I can do on with one then off with another.

Double clicking did the trick, thank you! I have the OSD setup with alt+/ to toggle alt+* to show and alt+- to hide but still no luck. It just stays on the screen no matter what I hit. Also can't seem to get the OSD to work at all with Doom, dose it support OpenGL games? I know MSI afterburner dose. If I decide to switch back, will MSI afterburner work with my card even though its a EVGA brand?

Your PC has a genuine tone with a simplistic (yet original) look to it. Very nice setup sir.
