Hi Folks,

I thought it would be useful for you to know this information, since it's not published anywhere.

I've had my Dark KingPin motherboard for nearly 2 years and at first DDR5 was unaffordable so I was satisfied with 2 strips of 16 gb RAM running at 5600 mhz from Corsair with Timing of 36-36-36-76

Prices having come down quite a bit, I took advantage of a special on these barettes for $209 US or $299 CAN at BestBuy.

CMK64GX5M2B6400C32   Timing 32-40-40-84  6400mhz

All I had to do was reset the CMOS and all was well detected and I was able to use the XMP1 version since the motherboard doesn't offer the choice of XMP3 but it still uses these values for operation.

All I need to do now is run a few torture tests to assess performance, since it runs at 1.4v vs. 1.25v by default on my old RAM strips.

After that, Benchmarks will be needed to see the full performance gain.

So if you're still stuck with only 32 gigs of RAM instead of 64, and with lower latencies and frequencies, right now there's a way to upgrade for cheap.

Hope it's useful.
