So nvidia just dropped 2 bomb shells on us just now.  they dropped the price of the 1080 founders edition to $499 and they announced the 1080 ti for $699

i have my 08G-P4-6286 1080 ftw acx card awaiting approval for the ICX upgrade. once that is approved and i get my ICX card. what will it be priced at? currently as of now (well probably because prices have no been updated) it sits at a MSRP of $679.99. my question is that when i get approved and get my ICX 1080 FTW card. will evga price it @ the $679.99 or will it reflect a different price giving that nvidia just lowered the price of the 1080 with this announcement?

I plan on stepping up to the 1080 ti for sure if its added to the step up program.  if the 1080 Ti will be added to the list of cards you can step up to. my other question is, instead of have you guys send out the ICX card to me after getting my card. cant you just kill 2 birds and do the ICX upgrade AND the step up in one transaction? it will save  A LOT of time logistically as well as cost. I don't want to pay shipping twice when ill just just be turning around and sending a brand new unopened ICX 1080 for a 1080 Ti.

hope i didnt confuse anyone and hope to be hearing from tech support soon :)  very excited. the hype is real lol!!

If you read the page for the ICX upgrade, it says that the amount paid will be the difference of the price of the TI and the MSRP of the ICX card you upgraded to, as per the EVGA website.  The price of the ICX cards will probably drop from where they stand today (3/1), but how much I cannot predict.  That will be up to EVGA to see if they intend to charge a premium for ICX.  Could be in the mid $500 range.  Time will tell.

well for the people that did the icx upgrade early on and were approved before today. they're invoice will show a price of 679.99. so does that mean that everyone that didnt get approved before today have their invoice with a lower price?

Would like an answer to this as well, especially for people who have not yet been approved for ICX upgrade.
