I was asked to modify EVGA powerlink to accept graphics cards that have power connectors "upside down" where tab/clip faces towards PCB. He asked me to first to flip PCI-E connectors from PSU side upside down but if you do that you will short circuit +12V and GND rails. Anyway the ideal place to reverse polarity at graphics card end is to take out J3 and J6 jumpers and have them crossed over and cut PCB trace between jumpers. It is possible to use J3 and J6 jumpers again but might be a little bit short to go trough holes properly so I used 1.45mm thick copper wire (15 gauge) for new jumpers.
 
And of course: doing this mod will void any warranty on powerlink and you will not be able to use it with other graphics card that don't have power connectors' clips/tabs facing towards PCB.

    I recently bought the EVGA PowerLink with the intention of trying to figure out whether or not I could flip the connectors as you mentioned doing.  Glad I did my research first and found your post.  Wow, I had no idea that this device has been around since the beginning of last year.  Is there anyway I could ship you my PowerLink to you and PAY you to perform the same alteration so that I can use it on my Gigabyte GPU?
