Games kept crashing the driver to the desktop....DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED_blahblahblah after 5-15 minutes.
Obviously, my previous overclock was not stable. It was the core, not the memory. I set vccio to 1.225v, vccsa to 1.225v, pch core voltage to 1.0v, and cpu standby to 1.243v. The core was unstable at 2113/2100/2088. Finally stable at 2062-2075MHz/8996Mhz.
I just got done playing Star Wars Battlefront 2015 for about 30 minutes @1440p/AF x16.

Final overclock settings:
+100 voltage
120% power
92C temp
+88 core (2062-2075MHz) 1.081-1.093V
+501 memory (4498MHz, 8996MHz effective)

Did you run Timespy and if so, how far did it downclock during the test? My acx ftw usually starts at 2078 and goes down to 2025.

No time, had to go to work. I will this weekend since I'm off. Will post results tomorrow or Sunday after playing some games tonight. It started at 2100, then after a few minutes straight to 2088. Will probably down clock to 2075 or worst case 2062. My old card did that too.

My SC2 has been running like a champ - I left it on stock settings, and since I only have one monitor and hate screen tearing, I turn vsync on for my 1080p monitor.  Card rarely bothers to boost over base clock unless I'm running benchmarks.

Fallout 4 turns into (relative) butter smoothness with triple buffering on.. DOOM never drops from 60 fps *ever*, and i can't wait for Wildlands to be released so I can see how it does.  GTA V never stutters if I turn on extended distance scaling, but Ultra grass quality still sends FPS into the 30's...

My previous card was a GTX 970 SC, so the difference isn't quite night and day, but I'm still happy with it.

    My Current PC: Victory Saber

    Intel Core i7 5820K - 3.30 ghz (stock clock)

    EVGA Supernova 750 G2
2 TB WD Black (64 mb cache, 7200 rpm)

No problem. If this was directed to me. I assume your asking for my type of GDDR5 memory? Its Samsung. Also shown in the GPU-Z pic I attached. (Click for better quality)

I think most people went all-out for the FTW2... I noticed that the FTW2 was on auto-notify while the 1080 SC2 was in stock. :D

    I got the 1080 SC2 because a. Cheaper b. I don't really overclock; I'll let EVGA do it :D and c. Didn't need dual-BIOS if I wasn't going to OC it myself. :)

Well, it's funny how neither benchmark knows what Windows 10 is:

My EVGA 1080 SC2 is my first top-of-the-line grade graphics card.

    Holy. Crap.

The difference between it and my old Strix 970 is absolutely staggering.

Metro LL Redux: Max settings, I can turn everything on, and it just stays at 60fps on my ASUS 1080p monitor.
Fallout 4: Only problem I encountered was turning the weapon debris to the absolute maximum setting. Even then I was averaging 50-ish fps. I need to take the time and fully mod it out.
Skyrim: Have yet to try it.
GTA V: I can max it out completely, in triple monitor surround mode (5760x1080) and it's always at 60.
M.E. Andromeda: Seems to run decently. Occasional stutter here or there. I assume that's because it's new.

I need to get a 4k monitor. Currently waiting for the Step Up to the 1080 ti.

I just received my first FTW2 and just did some quick and dirty overclocking.  Out of the box it survived Timespy at +100 on the clock and +500 on the memory with a score of 7838.  Mass Effect Andromeda didn't like those settings though and crashed fairly quickly, but, I have to say, that game is pretty finicky and seems to crash quickly.  Haven't really tried my other games on those settings.  At +75 and +400 the game was stable though and ran at around 75C at 2012/1999 Mhz the whole time I was playing it.

    Sorry, don't have a SC2, but I figured I'd share my experience.

I ran Heaven using +85 core and +450 memory which seems to be at the edge of stability for this FTW2

It maintained around 2025 Mhz throughout the test.

My 1080 SC2 ICX Sparked and Flamed after 4 days of use. Monitor blacked out then a loud pop followed by sparks/flames then the smoke and smell. Very disappointing.
