So I saw the article shows the code of the countdown so I had to look at it, I could not find what it showed which said GTX 1080Ti but there still are hints that it could be that card. The first 2 letters of Time are bold so that points to so Ti card coming and the code does throw 1080 several times but does that have something to do with what is coming, who knows. Does this sound like an Nvidia launch event, yes. What is being launched, only Nvidia knows and they do not want to tell us until the event.

just look at titan x pascal and dropped maybe 5 fps from it give or take. it'll probably be like the 980 ti was to the 980. an overclocked 1080 ti will probably match stock clocked titan xp

It likely will have a grace period, but it wont matter. I have a sneaking suspicion that nvidia has a much better plann for quantities this time around, compared to the 1080 launch. This time, they have been producing titan xp card for months, and the ones with the cut down die have just been stock piling.

Lmao my god. $900 for a gpu FE edition of course but still. So $799 base $850 or so with other vendors. Get bent Nvidia. This could be the climax point where customers start to tap out. I know I am. I now see Volta at $999-$1100 easily.
