hi. is EVGA gonna do mobo for those CPUs ? AMD Ryzen 7 seem to be the new king.

    Probably not. Only way that would happen is if it started to hurt them in sales.

    You would need to wait for EVGA to make an announcement. Its unlikely, since evga has an intel nvidia partnership.

    Your thread was moved to general hardware also, since it doesnt pertain to the z270 line up.

    Microcenter is doing a pre-order
    $499 Rysen 7 1800x
    $399 7 1700x
    $329 7 1770 with a 95W cooler
     
    I am not getting one but will be reading on Toms hardware any new information as they may show up in some Apple device ?

    Based on the benchmarks I'm seeing so far, Ryzen looks good and performs extremely well for its price, but still doesn't outperform intel's chips. By a pretty large margin imo, especially when you get into the 2k and 4k resolutions. 7700k is still the better chip.

    The performance gap could shrink, once game developer start optimizing games for AMD RYZEN chips.
