Ok system build info up first: MOBO: Z97X-SLI-CF Proc: i5-4570 @ 3.2ghz RAM: 24gb DDR3 @ 1600mhz Video: Dual GTX 950 2gb SLI connected 4 24" monitors with DVI/VGA/HDMI 650w rosewill PS Its a frankenmachine that I have hoarded parts here and there from but it runs great. I am still new to the SLI and surround options, I would like to setup my 4 monitors in a 4 way landscape surround. I have multiple connections and adapters to connect DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort or even VGA, but every time I attempt to follow the "guide" on what needs to be connected to which card, when I try to add the 4th display to the surround it says "display connection error" Currently I have 3 monitors on 1 primary card connected as DVI, DP, DP and 4th monitor on secondary card as DVI, but I have tried multiple other ways and no luck. I can enable all 4 displays to be independent no issues though. Please help me, if I can be helped.

Make sure you are connecting to the correct DP inputs. For the surround setup you will only want to connect to the inputs that are marked with the circles. The squares indicate accessory displays only.

Anyone have any ideas on whats going on why I can't use 2d surround with the setup I have? Like I said, I've tried a few different connection types to each card in several different variations, and each one keeps responding with connection error. At this point, I am wondering if one or more monitors are synced the same as the others. Resolution is the same on all so I am going through other display settings to see whats up, any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have Gateway FHD2402 and Acer S240HL (connected to 1 card) and 2 Dell E2414H connected to the second card - one of my previous posts shows the configuration in Nvidia Control Panel

That was after I connected the gateway, acer, and 1 of the dell to the primary card with display port, and the second dell on the display port. all 4 were connected to DP at one point and still couldnt get it working

What specific GPUs do you have ? Brand & Model Curious as to why your displayed ports in your example are different GeForce GTX 950 2way-SLI With 2D Surround (Landscape) --> from link above Post #2, shows 7 options on connecting Maximum Resolution: 11520x2160 > Maximum Resolution (Bezel Correction): 12800x1600 > Maximum number of displays: 2-5 in Surround 11520/4 monitors = 2880 each monitor Max Resolution

What happens if you use 3 Monitors on DP connected to GPU closest to the CPU (left) Run one monitor on second GPU (right)
