So I have a laptop with a 1060 and i was overclocking and I find my self limited to 1700-1750 MHz core clock. I am not complaining about my overclock because I am getting great performance. But it is GPU boost limiting me. I can set it to 2200 MHz and it will still limit it self to 1700-1800 with 99% core load. Now my question is how do some people with the same card get it to go to 2000+ MHz? I am stumped on how they do it. Because this card is power limited that is why mine stops at 1700-1800 because i'm pulling 75-80 Watts which is the cards power delivery limit. But on 3DMarks website people are getting 2000+ and I just can figure it out. If anyone has Ideas for why they can push it that far with out limits please let me know because I am stumped. PS here is a link to some of the results I am seeing.
