Good evening all,

Hoping to get an assist here.

I just purchased 2 additional Asus Rog Swift pg278q monitors and an EVGA Displayport hub which just arrived today, to run them off of an EVGA Titan Signature card.

When connecting the hub to a single screen, no matter the setting or resolution the screen blinks non stop then garbled video and the screen states no signal.  All screens run fine when individually connected directly to the video card.

This also occurs if everything is off and you first boot the PC video starts flashing immidiately.

Any thoughts?
I did open a support ticket as well.

Thanks!

    Hello,

what resolution are you running the display on when connected to the hub? Do you have gsync enabled while trying to use the hub?

The MST technology in the Display Port hub will not allow for 144hz+ wqhd displays and especially not gsync.

    Please let us know.

Started at 1920 x 1080 at 60 hz even tried dropping as low as 1280 x 720 same issue (gsync off in both cases)

Screens are native 2560 x 1440 144hz not sure if that is an issue.

Same issue occurs on boot before it ever gets to the OS as well.

Spoke to support last night over the phone.  They are having me send it back for replacement.

Hopefully a new one gets this working!

So after considerable back and forth and getting an RMA replacement.  I am experiencing the exact same thing.  Forced the screen to 60hz no gsync before I even tried to connect it.

    Same exact screen flashing issues.

This occurs on a single screen or any number of screens regardless of cabling used (all brand new out of the box)

I am at a loss.  Will need to open another support ticket.
