I'm in the middle of a major upgrade so my specs are a bit poor currently, so I dont know if that's why the K Boost isn't showing up, but I looked into options, etc - cant find anything. I also tried to search for a solution but everything I found didn't work. I checked UEFI and everything seems normal there so I dont think it's that. Also I was able to overclock my previous (AMD) card.

What I've tried so far:

  • Clean uninstall/install (deleting profiles in the process)
  • Checked UEFI

FX-6350
8GB DDR3
EVGA GTX 1070
Windows 10

You can confirm the device ID: 10DE 1B80-3842
This will determine the on / off K Boost function

For some reason AMD motherboards cant read the vendor ID correctly in Pascal cards BIOS.
Open an EVGA support ticket and they will help U. Thats what I did, took them 15 mins to send a BIOS update for my evga 1060 sc. Now Precision XOC have full functionality.
