I'm not sure that last chart is all that good at reflecting what is going on. BC started around over 100mill per day and has slowed to around 90 mill per day. And I'm guessing the "Average" in that pie graph is including the time before BC existed, artificially producing much lower numbers then is occurring in reality.

Where are you getting 60 thousand from, I'm not seeing that number on that page?

ok, ok, ok. So it is a lot of regular people with more affordable computers vs a single user with a massive crunch farm, lol.  Understood.

That is why I'm more partial to another distributed computing platform, no data on what dose well at crunching or whom is running what.

With Numbers like that, I would guess a Power7 or Power8 platform, or Possibly a CRAY XK7, tho your guess is as good as mine, lol.  Does that user work at Oak Ridge National Laboratory?

No, I'm fairly certain has has rigs similar to Chris...only he just throws another one together every other month.
I can't find his post on FF, or Slack...but he has the money and time.

Just adds another 3 or 4 card system to his farm whenever he wants to increase his production.

dozen 980 TI, dozen 1070, dozen 1080 ...etc. etc.

Tied to his investment in the  coin infrastructure and getting others to join cure-coin, leveraging power of borge for other uses?
IDK.

I'm not sure PG is completely sure what they  (the curcoin groups) do with all that processing power. But since they don't have any clear proof or even report of nefarious activity....they have not stopped the coin mining groups from participating in the team points.

But again, with a total lack of any leadership, adherence to any ethical standards(for donor teams, for conflict of corporate interests, for infiltration by STATE or STATE sponsored hacking)   is really just up for your best guess?

Irregardless of what they're doing or why, our lead over them has jumped to 14.3 years.  It'd be interesting to see when their totals finally start to drop off a cliff though (right around the same time all those people folding for bucks fade away again?)

PC Build (early 2009 - gaming only)
Antec Twelve Hundred - Win10 x64
eVGA X58 SLI - Core i7 920 (bumped to 2.80GHz) - 6GB DDR3-1066
WD Black 640GB/7200RPM - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD

Asus GTX 1060 OC (3GB) - HT Omega Striker 7.1 - Asus VH222H 21.5"

Curecoin will not simply drop off until either the altcoin market or bitcoin completely crash, by a 60% or more. price per CURE has doubled in the last 2 months and seems to be sticking to that price, that is why production has doubled over the same time frame. not to mention btc is still high even after a hack 2 months ago.

They also broke the 200 million ppd mark yesterday. And this time it isnt due to a hype train of a new crypto coin.

that's a very high scary number there :( judging from that it might cost me $3-4 per day. i am from Cincinnati Ohio so maybe power is a bit cheaper here but will have to see.

Well he included AC in the cost. With cooler temps rolling in AC is somthing that shouldnt be needed any time soon.

Yep! I bet your 4 Million a day did not really make any difference.

I have to ask what How much Coin do you get in return for 4 Million points a day?

Now to I know why some members have a large number at the end of their Folding ID's like this one;

Google is my friend.  Looks like CC is still only worth a half a penny.
It must of been real low, and risen to .05 cent to get production up like it is
https://www.coingecko.com...ce_charts/curecoin/usd

Yeah it was a quarter of one penny, it peaked then fell again
90 day chart here.
https://www.coingecko.com...s/curecoin/usd/90_days

It is $0.05 usd not 0.05 cents, that would be $0.0005 usd.

They also broke the 200 million ppd mark yesterday. And this time it isnt due to a hype train of a new crypto coin.

Yep! I bet your 4 Million a day did not really make any difference.

I have to ask what How much Coin do you get in return for 4 Million points a day?

Now to I know why some members have a large number at the end of their Folding ID's like this one;
15k84jUoNPb1kodGvYtKDHiBPRX4Qs3kx8

Bill that long number is so they can fold Cure coin and the other coin called folding coin.
They use that long number that becomes your to keep easier tract of points with out using two names for the two coins.
That way folding coin knows who you are with out being on their team, and you just can not say you're soNso (a person folding a lot of points that is not you)
I do believe that is how it works.
Remember they (foldingcoin) wanted to get people involved with out changing teams. But you had to use a special name to prove it is you.
To get CC you have to join CC's team

Yes, now I do remember and it all fell through the cracks.

I guess if you want to get technical it is .50 cent  But I clearly said one half penny. There was no confusion.
But thanks a lot for clearing that up for us.

What i was trying to say it its worth 5 cent, one nickel, 5 hundredths of a dollar, 5 pennies. You are off by a factor of a hundred.

One thing to note - over on Extreme Overclocking, I checked out curecoin's stats and like us, they only have two billion-point weeks (10/2 and 10/9).  The Time Zone Challenge will help us going forward, but that's just something to keep in mind ;)
