Just got the EVGA Classified K

I have a 0 & 1 Slot EVGA PRO SLI... to go from full PCIE 1 to 2 I need a 2 Slot bridge... can I use 2&3 at x16 & x 8 instead?

Hello SLI will work as long as the PCIE lane is running at x8 +

For SLI in slots 1 and 2 on the Z170 Classified K you would want a 40mm "0 slot spacing" bridge

Can I get slots 2 & 3 to run at 8x ... 1&2 seem to close and causes interference on a EVGA 1070 SC fan

PCIE 0, 1, 2 all draw lanes from the CPU; your CPU will have a maximum of 16 lanes to give.
EVGA refers to them as PE1, PE2, PE3. If ONLY PE1 is populated, it will run at 16x. If PE2 is populated, PE1 becomes 8X and PE2 becomes 8X. If PE3 is populated, it will ONLY run at 4X regardless of if PE2 or PE1 is populated. You can look at the back of the mobo to see the number of pins dedicated to that slot lane.

There should be no problem using your two GPUs right next to each other in PE1 and PE2. If you are concerned about heat, consider adding some more intake fans to your case.

    From the classified k manual...

PCI-E Slot Breakdown PCI-E Lane Distribution:
    PE1 – x16, (x8 if PE2 or PE3 is used) lanes from CPU
    PE2 – x8, (x4 if PE3 is used) lanes from CPU
    PE3 – x4, 4 lanes from CPU
    PE4 – x4, 4 lanes from PCH
    PE5 – x1, 1 lane from PCH
    PE6 – x1, 1 lane from PCH

When i decide to get a 2nd 1080 to add to my water cooling custom loop would this be the correct terminal block i would have to assume the spacing is same at 40mm measurements
