I want to tell everyone who like old iPhone 5s but want better device or android owners who can't afford iPhone 7 but they thought maybe to invest in some older iPhone because it's not everything in performance. Same situation is with FX8350, many people bought him because he OC higher than Intel on LN2 and because he have "eight" cores... I love him even more because he cost me 275E on 24 months.

As you see with iPhone SE you have much better chance if he drop in water, even after few minutes and later after 15 minutes there are good chance that you he will survive, if he stay few seconds chances are even better. We can't say it's waterproof but he don't have fear from water...

I hope he will become best option for 2016. Not best phone, he couldn't be best phone even 2015, but could be best option because it's cheaper and still offer excellent features. Bad because he didn't show up 2015, he would be best buy and a lot of people will search for him, special android owners who like iPhone 5s and could buy same phone only completely different and better inside for little more than iPhone 5s price.
I special recommend him for people who don't want to sit and look half day in cell phone, who spend time on computer but want nice phone for pictures, surfing, messages, mails, etc with good processor.

Believe me I would not change him for any Android cell phone on planet, even most expensive with biggest capacity.
I'm sorry because I didn't check options with my provider earlier, before 2-3 months, accidentally I saw him checking price of iPhone 6s, I thought maybe price drop little and I saw him. I didn't plan 100% to buy new cell phone. When contract finish I will check another budget iPhone. Maybe 7s will be cheaper than.
I hope and you will figure out that Samsung is best on SSD, Memory field, but couldn't conquer cell phone market.
His competitor Apple is too big task for him.  That's not CORSAIR, Micron, OCZ and Samsung easy beat them when they start to sell own devices.
But Apple is unique company on planet.

I still didn't install iOS 10. I must figure out how with iPhone to delete mail in Outlook 2016.
If I delete them they are still inside Outlook on PC. With Gmail is OK, when I delete from iPhone not more mail in Gmail Account, but need to figure out how for Microsoft Outlook. I know where is problem, probably mails are stored somewhere in Outlook until you delete them with him...

On that video clip he worked normal after 3-4 minutes under water, but iPhone 5s was finished very fast, than he stay 15 minutes and he first didn't work but when guy start to press screen he recognize that screen is still alive and after that he start to work and everything work normal, calling, surfing, charging, speakerphone...

On second clip they drop him from 1000 ft in bunch of duct tape... Off course he didn't survive, G force is incredible strong, even if she stop without hit he will be damaged probably with so much force... He was completely destroyed, bend completely LCD screen broken, but when guy turn him on everything worked.
I was surprised that iPhone SE start faster than Samsung Galaxy S7, and faster open browser, faster enter in GTA, etc... they show on Youtube.
But Samsung S7 only multi is faster in Geekbench, single is weaker than iPhone SE, I think...
Galaxy have excellent performance, but they are monotonous too much, customers buy them than WAU specification, than whole day look in phone, play games and for 2-3 months new model is available, or next version or similar phone for with little improvements...Because of that chasing performance only as idiot and for 2 months something much better is available is not interesting so much. It would be good at least one year to have top performance.
With iPhone and OS its little different, dual core processors work excellent.

If every company start to produce cheaper but quality build devices with nice performance and if people recognize their moves very soon they could sell more and most expensive and best devices and their sales could increase thanks to cheaper reliable products.
But usually brands for their cheaper products always saved cost as much possible and customers recognize than and
don't like to see. I think they will sell more iPhone SE than they expect, but to be honest he is not so cheap, maybe I have different view completely because I made contract, but his price is still around 400$, he should be 300-330$. But people no choice, I think iPhone 5s is good if someone have him 2-3 years, but it's not for investment now. Than customers could choose iPhone SE 400, iPhone 6 450-500 and iPhone 6s around 580-700$ and iPhone 7 is 800-1700$ depend of model and capacity. I saw iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black 256GB 1400-1700$ on Amazon... Madness. Almost 2000$ and they say demand is 25% lower than for iPhone 6s. Because many people can't afford, iPhone 6 was cheaper and many customers don't want to change immediately, they learned that S is better variant and worth waiting. Because of that 25% smaller demand if I hear good maybe is not true is not so bad.

My only complaint about the iPhone SE is that 16GB is not enough memory especially after the operating system is loaded. I currently have an iPhone 7 Plus on order (32 GB) for testing purposes and Monday it will be on order for 3 weeks and probably another week of waiting.

iPhone SE 64GB is available as well but his price on my contract was 390 euro, 115 euro more than 16GB.
That was too much for me. I could save little music, everything else is for messages, mails, etc...
I will not look movies, play games or install 5h of music.
Maybe Apple should launch iPhone SE 64GB only for same price as iPhone SE 16GB. That would be best option at the moment.

You will get iPhone 7... OMG you are so lucky...
    This model is so good.

I read, about 56% of iPhone 7 customers bought some iPhone and before,
44% are people who changed different cell phones Androids for iPhone 7 and become part of Apple Family.
Much less people after iPhone bought Xperia, Motorola, LG, Samsung, HTC, Nexus,...
That's because all big companies on the world are similar only Apple not, Apple is lifestyle, icon.
Some people hold two cell phone and at least one should be iPhone, or one iPhone SE and other iPhone Plus.

I'll agree that it is really annoying the level of fragmentation.  Then add to it that after the phone MFR releases an update it is THEN up to the carrier to release it (in the US anyway).  Luckily this can all be avoided with a Nexus device (or one of the upcoming Pixel phones).  Updates on them come straight from Google plus there's an unlocked bootloader if you want to play with flashing ROMs or rooting.  Another option is if you are on GSM carrier in the US is to get an unlocked device - they are usually updated much quicker than carrier branded devices.

Love android on a big screen like a tablet or TV, absolutely hated having it on a phone. I switched to an iPhone 6 when it released and find it much nicer to use on a small phone screen. I do hate iOS on iPads though. Android vs. iOS is generally seen as a red team vs. blue team sort of thing, when really what matters is how well either works for you.

The SE genuinely is a nice phone, if I needed another phone it would be at or near the top of my list.

That's weird how I fast decide to go on iPhone SE after looking site of my provider.
When I saw him after 2 hours I order him. 2 hours I search for details and is it worth investing.
Same phone as mine in official seller for Apple products for Croatia cost 64.500 din (16GB) that's 521 euro, on black market imported from EU are around 400 euro, and I payed 34.000 din that's 275 euro with new number and contract. Only problem is because my phone is locked on that network, but for me is same because I have their postpaid SIM and they have best option if you travel in some other country because that's our national provider same as home phones, we have two others networks. I was so happy when women told me that same number as my home is free.
    That was objective from beginning.

Now 7 October I think iPhone 7 should arrive.
This Matt Black look sick, Jet Black is more for girls, but Mat Black is great.
I think people who need two phones example, for job or similar thing should keep one big phone and one small.
Example iPhone SE and iPhone 7 Plus. That's great. And you don't need to read negative Android propaganda about iPhone.
Now Octa-Core 2GHz marketing not worth any more after A10 become available.

On the front of Apple cell phones -

Honestly, I've had Android since the beginning (not too long), but I'm considering an Apple iPhone next due to the following history:

Android uses Java which isn't optimal and requires higher specs than Apple to run 'optimally.' And, it isn't even optimal. Even the lower end iPhones run significantly better than a lower end Android. Swiping is always smooth on iPhones. Memory management is also leaps and bounds better.

    Samsung Ace II x
= worst phone you can buy in terms of performance
= no cost in the cheapest plan except to pay off the phone
    = apps stop responding
= laggy during certain low CPU tasks

    LG Nexus 5
    = quite a bit quicker
= battery life went down the tubes with medium amount of apps and the latest update at the time, M (4 hours)
    = apps stop responding
    = laggy during.... " "

    LG G3
    = a bit quicker
= decent battery life, but I don't load on that many apps anymore
    = apps stop responding
    = laggy during.... " "

I will never buy other cell phone, only Apple, but that doesn't mean that I will save money 6 months to pay 800 euro for newest iPhone.
But I will look for similar option as iPhone SE in future. It's look same as iPhone 5s only is somehow better build and behave better in water there are more chance to survive, and hardware is far better, immediately behind iPhone 7.
If someone could afford more expensive phone I suggest iPhone 7 Black Matt.

I'm sad only because I didn't purchase iPhone earlier.
You will not go wrong if you change your philosophy and replace Android for iPhone 6s/6s Plus, SE, or even iPhone 7 if you can afford.
Small apple is always near me on computer table and I'm happy every time to see back side of iPhone SE Space Gray.

I wouldn't buy the phone outright, personally. My plan allows me to pay $0 down on the iPhone SE for two years. And, I get the $7 insurance. When my contract is up late 2017, I'm getting an Apple iPhone.

I've got a third gen Apple TV and an iPod Classic 80GB. Both work great.

Nice, you will probably have iPhone 7s available in 2017.
My package is one of cheaper and I don't need more expensive. 20 euro monthly together for phone and bill is OK.
I installed only tempered glass on front, because I like to see iPhone and every case hide him. First I thought SPIGEN, but than I decide to keep him safe as much possible and only to protect screen with Tempered Glass.
iPhone SE is exactly proper cell phone for me and he is excellent for all people who have some mid class Androids and want to try iPhone but don't want to buy expensive models and don't want to sacrifice features and performance with some old iPhone 5. OK iPhone 5s is still great phone and for checking mails, news, etc...But iPhone SE is much better.

I just got the Samsung Galaxy s7 Active. It's the one everyone is dropping off of roofs and throwing into pools on youtube and I will say, this thing is awesome. Best phone I have ever used hands down.

That;s not true, Samsung is not fair and should stop to lie people and leave Apple to keep cell phone market because people will be happier.
Samsung should make SSD, M.2, Video Memory, RAM, Monitors,... But Apple iPhone 7 is best smart Phone at the moment.
I could imagine how faster is iPhone 7 with A10 if iPhone SE faster access to messages, mails, browser than Samsung 7.

Vlada, not everyone needs the fastest though. People have preferences between brands and operating systems. If they're comfortable with something, they'll choose something recognizable and meaningful to themselves.

I have both an iPhone 6s and a Samsung Note 5 - the iPhone is for work and Note 5 is for personal use.  The only reason I have an iPhone is because that is what work provided otherwise I would never pick an iPhone over an Android.  I do not like how locked down iOS is and how plain and limited it is.  It's a hassle just to change out the keyboard / input method.  I also like the freedom to flash different ROMs, change my launcher, change my lockscreen, etc.

The Android ecosystem is more PC-esque in that you many more choices to suit your needs and budget.  You've got the option of different types of processor, storage, RAM, camera, etc.  Take for instance the Snapdragon CPU - there's the 4/6/8 series which is similar to i3/i5/i7.  You've also got Qualcomm, Exynos, Mediatek, etc., you can get 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM variants.  It's not about getting the best or those who "can't afford" it.  Would you build a $1000+ i7 system for someone who just wants to run MS Office and surf the net?  For someone like my wife who just uses basic apps a lower spec phone suits her just fine and the money saved on the device can be spent elsewhere.  For those who want/need the performance they can spend the money to get something high end and for those who don't they can still get a capable device for much less.

I've got a an iPhone 7 Plus now as well as Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro and a One Plus 3. All of those devices are fantastic. I use them to test applications.

Each phone is great in its own way and each has advantages. The problem is that Apple has NO competition at all so they can charge whatever they want for their phones.

Put it this way, I have ended friendships over apple. Friends don't let friends buy iphones or Bose audio equipment. That's just a law where I am from.

What you mean with that, someone don't allow you friendship with iPhone?
Who is that... I would like someone to try that with me. Hmm...

Every real American should have at least one iPhone.
I rather choose Steve Job's idea than some unknown Asian engineers.
He was amazing figure and iPhone is amazing device.
Only look how much cost old Apple computers or old iPhone as 2G on Ebay,
many people have own collection of iPhones with every single model. Some of them reach thousand of dollars price.
Samsung or LG are forgotten when new model show up, but not iPhone.
Anyone who travel in USA from Latin America or Asia or Europe I think best present for family, for son, daughter, wife, brother, sister is iPhone. If they can't afford newest with biggest space than previous model.
Apple is best possible present from America.
If someone ask me best present for daughter I would say iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black with a lot of space for music.

Yea that's best when you visit USA for holiday or travel, vacation and you buy there iPhone New, Shine, Fabric Sealed...
and you have great memory and souvenir next 2-3 years on your trip to USA. What is better souvenir from USA than new iPhone? Nothing.
