I have requested an RMA for an old GTX460 card. This 460 was the product of an RMA on an old GTX260 that had a lifetime warranty.  I'm about to start the cross-ship RMA and will have an $89 collateral hold. Any idea what type of card would require a hold of this amount? The RMA doesn't specify.

Also would like to give a shoutout to EVGA the best hardware company in the game.

The collateral hold is for the value of your current card. The replacement card will be determined based on availability when our RMA department receives the card. Can't give you any details until they make a decision (and you'll see the P/N updated on your Open RMAs page), but hopefully this helps

No it makes sense. I wasnt thinking. EVGA replaces the dead gpu, no questions asked (a gtx 950 btw). Sends it to me after I pay collateral based on my dead products worth. It is strange that a dead gtx 460 is worth $89 though. Not a complaint though.

EVGA will be the core again for my new system. Bring on that Titan P. :)

The collateral is based from the original video card and not the replacement : ).

on your open rma , there should be a Collect Colateral Box at the bottom that is grey with all the other feature allowing you to change rma type, but it wont show until they receive rma # i think
