Here's my timeline for those still waiting in queue, I'm going from a 980 ti SC ACX 2.0 to a 1080 SC ACX 3.0

May 27th around 12pm-1pm pst my step-up was submitted for the 1080 ACX 3.0 (didn't see my queue #)

June 22nd I was upgraded to the 1080 SC ACX 3.0

August 2nd I was offered to downgrade back to the original 1080 ACX 3.0, I declined

Today August 29th I went into step 2 and now I'm in step 3 ($7.25 shipping payment processing)

Hope that helps people estimate their waiting time that are still in queue

Good to hear yours went through. I put mine in mid-afternoon on the 27th for two cards and I'm still on step 1. Hopefully we'll see some more movement soon.

I'm sitting at product received - - actually I kinda like my integrated graphics, who cares about the video card? I'm just gonna end up playing more heroes of the storm anyway!

Yeah, I finally decided to give up on the SC and went with the 1080 ACX 3.0.  Made payment...awaiting further instructions...Figured waiting all this time for 100 Mhz bump in speed isn't going to break me...

I put myself in the step-up queue for the 1080 ACX 3.0 on 6/17 and was given the SC upgrade. Hopefully I will get it this month but it seems likelier to be next month judging on people still around launch still moving through the step-up process. I got the email option to switch back to the ACX 3.0 from the free SC upgrade last week, but I ignored it as I am a patient man. Playing Deus Ex Mankind Divided at 1440p is not an option until I get my baby, however.

Same here. Signed for by EVGA yesterday at 10:41 am PST.  Could have saved a few bucks by not using 2d day delivery had I known that processing wouldn't begin until Tuesday, Sep 6th.

EVGA received (at Brea and signed for by  RUBBELKE) my 980 GTX Ti Classy  11:00 AM Sept 1. It still is not marked received as of 11:55 Sept 6. I guess the announcement of being closed on the 5th of Sept. meant  from the 1st til who knows when.
I chatted with someone named Parker Sept. 1st to see if they could try to get it processed by Sat the 3rd and perhaps I would have my GTX1080 by now. Parker informed me that EVGA stated that they had from 1 to 3 days and that they would use them and then clammed up when I explained that Thursday, Friday and Saturday is 3 days. Please stop with the hype already and get with the truth. It'll make everything better for everybody.

Since UPS doesn't ship on Saturday...perhaps they waited until today to process the final steps.  Fingers crossed for you...

Thanks for the encouragement. I just want this thing over with. I promise never to entangle myself in this kind of mess which started in May, ever again. Second time I have tried to get too close to the bleeding edge of hardware and cut myself. Lol

Yup, my 980 ti has been waiting at EVGA to be processed since Friday but because of Labor Day it still hasn't, I built my first PC in March and and then in I think April they announced the 1080, I was kinda mad, then learned about this service, got excited about a free upgrade, never knew it would take over 3 months

Hopefully it will all get processed soon.  I am sure that EVGA has things stacking up inside the building as well.

Ya, they have about 5 days worth of cards to go through, (Fri-Tues deliveries) and mine getting there on Fri might mean it's on the bottom of a pallet and the more recent ones stacked on top, oh well, I'll get it when I get it, still thankful for this free service

Well, good for you!!  They're not taking them in order then, because mine was signed for at 11:20 AM last Thursday. Oh well, as least the line is moving.

Edit I notice you went from 980Ti SC to a Hybrid. That's maybe why you processed before me. They arrange them according to what product the step-up is  for.
