    Too skinny. Whats up with everything maxing at 1440? Super wide monitors suck IMO. Need to be more square.

    Asus said that the reason for their 100hz was due to the displayport bandwidth. Supposedly DP1.4 can support 5120x2160 @144.

    As for the comment about ultrawide sucks.... Ultrawide gives a wider natural fov if properly utilized, it also gives a larger real estate for working documents/programs. So it is good monitor for both games and work, and especially useful if you one monitor for both work and game.

    Im not too sure how true that is since dp1.3 can handle 4k@120 though that might be at a certain x-bit color palette. while the panels rung a higher color. It could be asus giving a bad reason to cover their earlier promises of a 3440x1440@120hz.

    You sir are mistaking.  Widescreen gaming is SO immersive.
