I got 3-way & 4-way working in the game the witcher 3 using driver 372.54. 

The GTX 1080 still supports 3-way and 4-way SLI over the classic bridges that come with motherboards, but you would have to obtain a special software key from NVIDIA and would rely on your game/benchmark developers to optimize their apps for 3-way/4-way SLI. NVIDIA's regular driver updates will likely only optimize for 2-way SLI.  NVIDIA "Pascal" GPUs do support Microsoft DirectX 12's multi-display adapter (MDA) mode, but NVIDIA will not provide game-specific optimizations through driver updates for MDA. That would become the game developer's responsibility. The same applies to "explicit" LDA (linked display adapter).

Enthusiasts wanting to use 3-way or 4-way SLI would download an app from an upcoming "Enthusiast Key" website, run the app, and generate a software key signature for their hardware to unlock 3-way and 4-way SLI in NVIDIA's Control Panel.

Not bad for $150, But the Shipping from Overseas to the US would be around $50.
 
I would want to wait until  they are available at a US retailer.

And I Thought No One could get a Titan X Pascal 4-Way SLI setup to actually Scale properly in GAMES....

I knew they were using nvidia inspector to create custom sli profiles...

Wow, Even though those custom SLI profiles appear to solve the problem, That is a Lot of Work (Not to mention the equipment) in order to obtain good scaling in 4-way SLI Gaming with Pascal Series cards.

What equipment? 5k monitor?

Referring to the "Special" reverse PCI-e Slot/Dual CPU MB that was used.

Those aren't needed to get good scaling.

The microstutter is horrible, I would hardly call that "Playable scaling" to be honest... Unless you like to spend $$$$ and to play choppy games.
 
2 way SLI is the only way to go for smooth gameplay as far as SLI goes.

I think even Quad SLI GTX 295 was smoother than that video.

Very True, Although after I looked at the prices on a Clevo similarly equipped like Yours..., I think I'll hold off on getting another Laptop, lol.

Yeah, But then that return would have only paid for about 1/3 of a Clevo.

Thought I would share this last set of benchmarks. Just in case people thought a laptop couldn't out bench these desktops in the same class...:)

 

it's over clocked to 4.8 ghz my friend.

That's because i don't lock c states. No need too. So it rises and falls as it should.
