I did mine towards the end of may or beginning of june (I cant remember exactly). I am currently in step 5 out of 5 since they allowed me to go back to the standard acx model because it was in stock again. I should hopefully get the 1080 by this week or the beginning of next week! So i guess mine was almost 3 months wait time.

Since I started the step up program (970 SC to 1080 ACX 3.0) I have not received any emails. I'm not sure if I got unlucky or the whole process didn't work. I followed all the steps for the step up program and after I was done with it, nothing happened :/

I can confirm that everyone located in the US/Canada region with a open Step-up to a model 08G-P4-6183-KR has received a email offering them the 08G-P4-6181-KR to assist with moving forward.

Not everyone recieved the upgrade email, unfortunately. I guess it was evga trying to allocate enough 1080s, regardless of model, to get the queue moving. What does your step up status show under your product details? If it states in queue, then you should be ok. Its just a waiting game my friend. I was thinking about declining the downgrade email to ACX model, but then I thought about it, my 1080FE runs steady at 2050-2080mhz with no problems, so i accepted the offer and got my claim moving forward.

I got my 1080 just today and I started the step-up at the beginning of June. I did not get to start the steps though until Aug 26th, however once the steps started I got my card in about a week. I was only without a card for 3 days until my 1080 came in. The wait for the steps to start was the longest part. I thought I was not going to be eligible because by Aug.26 the 90 days was already up. Anyway I did get mine and was vary happy that EVGA got the card to me so quick.

My card just got to EVGA's office today (mailed it off tuesday) and it already shows up as "received" on my Stepu-Up page, which means that they've entered in my RMA# on the box.  Wouldn't be surprised if it got shipped out either tomorrow or monday.

Mine was shipped out the next day after they recieved it, EVGa has a very fast turn around!

I've been waiting since July 9th for a 1070 ACX 3.0 and they are readily available on newegg. Starting to get impatient and seems like by the time I will actually get mine the card will have been out on market for 6 months. :( Probably will just try to sell my 970 and just buy a 1070

I've been waiting for a 1080 ACX 3.0 since the 7th of July and I haven't gotten anything either. As long as I get it within the next couple weeks i'll be fine, as i'm planning on doing an upgrade around the first week of September.
