I just updated to Windows 10 BUILD v14393.103 FOR PC. I am having an issue with boot up timing. I am using (5) Corsair SSDs. I have used the MSI website for the latest Intel drivers related to SATA/IDE support on the MB. I was not having any issues until I updated to the Windows 10 Anniversary build v1607!!! What can I do to resolve this issue? Reinstall Windows? Do a repair? Or find a newer driver update? Clean the old driver data base out with DDU? This crap is getting old with every Windows 10 update.

I'd try updating all my drivers to the latest versions. You can find the latest drivers for your entire motherboard here. The only drivers you won't be able to find on the website I linked is your graphics drivers, goto http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us for that.

Here's a screenshot from the MSI website for the most current drivers. I would strongly assume their out dated?

The motherboard is an MSI Big Bang-XPower II X79 Chipset.

MSI's website shows the following drivers available
On-Board PIDE/SATA Drivers Asmedia SATA Driver Driver Version: 3.1.8.0000 Release date: 2015-08-03
Others Drivers Intel Management Engine Driver Intel Driver Version: 11.0.4.1186 Release date: 2016-05-06
System & Chipset Drivers Driver Version: 10.1.2.19 Release date: 2016-05-06

Could you please link me the proper updated drivers from the website containers&id=5 you provided below here? :D  That website has other languages. Thank you!

You have to Kill the Xbox DVR --- as MS made it auto start in this ANV. update of Win 10

Also most if not all parts of Win 10 defaulted back to standard settings -- you need to go back and fix

Last Question? Sajin, If I want to download the Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64 ISO and do a fresh install. Where is the MS Link and will it include WINDOWS 10 BUILD v14393.103 in the latest ISO?

The problem still exists with the ANV. update of Win 10 Microsoft has broken the OS and who knows when they will fix all the issues users are having. Oddly the bootup issues come and go. This all leads to Windows 10. I even installed all the updated drivers and did a new install of Windows 10 without losing any files/programs and the problem still exists. What a damn shame because Microsoft has the Windows 10 insider program with a million plus users that test for bugs and related issues prior to release.

The reinstall of Win 10 -- you did a "clean install" & not an upgrade install ?

Too busy Folding to play with MS "new & improved"  - I hate Beta testing on a working PC.

I'll only willingly Beta on a spare - idle PC

When I did the anniversary update I had a few bugs and although they were minor they bothered me enough that I made (via the Windows Media Tool) a Windows 10 DVD with the anniversary update and I did a fresh install of Windows. No more problems.

Another tech crunching question? Every time Microsoft comes out with any major new Windows 10 updates will that update also be reflected in their ISO image we can download from Microsoft with the MediaCreationTool? For example last weeks build was version 14393.103 Now this week it's now build version 14303.105 All the improvements will already be in the latest ISO from Microsoft?

Re: BOOT TIME SLOW AND LAGGING AFTER WINDOWS 10 UPDATE BUILD v14393.103 FOR PCs 2016/09/24 12:29:18 (permalink)
Another tech crunching question? Awhile back I was running Windows 8 Pro and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for free. When I do a clean install of Windows 10 from the latest version ISO, won't I need a product activation code in order to proceed with a full install of Windows 10? Or will I have to revert back to Windows 8 and then upgrade to Windows 10 again? Or does the MS server already know my hardware ID so that I can just install the entire full version without an activation key on the same system? The last thing I want to do is revert back to Windows 8 just to upgrade/update to Windows 10

As long as you activated the original Win 10 upgrade; MS has you system on their server.
