I have never seen where NVIDIA allowed color change in the control panel..... Simply delete XOC (ensure you delete the profiles as well in your C: drive (or whatever drive you have XOC installed in)...I would also reinstall your Nvidia driver (uninstall using display driver uninstaller).  Once you do that, reinstall and try XOC again.  I think it is still buggy tho.

Even I'm getting the same problem. Reinstalling the software and drivers didn't fix anything. Next, I'm going to try installing a previous version of EVGA Precision XOC and see if that works.

    Windows 10, 1080 SC
i have the same issue too, already tried uninstall/delete folders, DDU + reinstall driver & precision x oc 6.0.4

When opening the LED tab, the NVIDIA GeForce Experience - LED Visualizer also opens, the NVIDIA app works without issues, but if i try to change anything in the EVGA LED and hit OK, it crashes:

Hey good to be here!I have the exact same issue on my EVGA GTX 1080 Founders Edition and found this forum thread on google whilst trying to find the answer,it's at the top of the search results wich is handy :) .Running on Windows 10 64-bit, Intel i7 4790K @ 4.7Ghz, 16GB DDR3 @ 2400mhz, Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI , Antec 750 Watt High Current gamer. Tried uninstalling and then removing the old EVGA folders from C etc and it still doesn't work. It doesn't crash if i click the "x" on the LED window but if i click the white check-box or click "ok" it instantly crashes the app.

Hello  to all our new members! This is a known issue with any card besides the FTW/FTW DT/Classified; the other cards, including SC and Founder's Edition, do not have programmable LEDs, and so the program crashes when trying to change the color. This functionality will likely be removed or changed in the next version to resolve this issue. hymylsqd, since you're having problems while using a 1070 FTW, I would like you to send an e-mail to support@evga.com and we can work to resolve this problem.

I get the program crash when any function on the LED page is checked or clicked on. I have a GTX1080FE and while the color may not be programmable, I was able to control the color intensity using GeForce Experience. Unfortunately, I switched to the new Beta GeForce and there is no longer any function in that version to control the LED intensity. At least none that I can find and I've combed through every page. Maybe I'm missing something??

I understand the logic in what your saying but what about this......when i was using an older version of geforce experience on my PC it had an option to adjust my LED's on my EVGA Founders Edition GTX 1080 with the simple green LED logo. I could set it to "breathe" etc and change the intensity of the light. I got a newer version,a beta i beleive and that option is now gone. If it was possable to change the LED's previously on the founders edition through the nvidia software then EVGA precision should be able to do the same thing even if its not a FTW card etc. I saw it with my own eyes here on my machine. I think it would be unfair to take this feature away from us! I liked having my card breathing lol. Everything i said here corresponds to what the guy above me here is saying aswell it was modifiable in the previous non-beta version of nvidia gefore experience i was using.

Thanks BarBrawllin. I was trying to imply that but you came right out and said it. The FE GTX1080 LEDS are/were at least programmable in intensity using GeForce Experience, so what EVGATech_BrandonS is saying is blowing smoke to say the least. This appears to be an obvious feature bug that could/should be fixed, not removed.

Well i emailed them about it aswell and got this response which im kinda disappointed with tbh because i would much rather set the LED up in the Precision software rather than the Geforce Experience software because i hardly ever go into that the only time i check it really is to see if there's a driver update or if i buy a new game and want to optimize the graphics settings.

    "Hello,

If you are running the latest drivers, the 372.54, Geforce Experience should still have the LED settings. My Rig > LED Visualizer > Configure LED Visualizer. So we do not recommend the Beta Geforce Experience if it removed it. The PrecisionX OC will only change the LED settings with a FTW model card. There may be an issue at this time with the FE and the Precision software so we do recommend the Geforce Experience to change it.

    Regards,
    EVGA"

I have a 1070 FTW , the software of PrecisionX OC its working good, just crashes when i try to changue the color of the leds on the fans side, if i change the EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 letters color works good, also the effects breathing and rainbow. Hope they can fix it for the future version
    Cheers from Arg!
