Guys I search for some 1TB SATA III SSD before SM961 become available in Hungary or before 960 PRO show up.
I looked Samsung 850 EVO is some standard. I want some cheaper but good option, not best and fastest SSD.
I could find him for 260 euro, new 5 years warranty. What you think? Maybe someone have some other recommendation, better for similar price.

I dropped on 120GB SSD and 500GB HDD. That's insane, now I will increase space with M.2 512 and SATA III SSD 1TB.
Anyway they could work in laptops for 2-3 years If I decide to cross on laptop with desktop GPU and desktop CPU, if something like that show up.
Mobile Intel and GeForce no matter on model are not interesting. I'm sad because Intel no so cheap options.

OK, 850 EVO looks like best price/performance.
Samsung launched only one revision of 850 EVO or more?
I checked and CORSAIR but they cost more, I would need to pay at least 50 more for 960GB for lowest class.
    Samsung is probably better.

Why people go on 512+512 and RAID very often?
It's faster but more chances for problems, I think 1TB is better for gaming SSD.
Anyway I will not recognize difference, and better single bigger and it's cheaper little.

I know why people in USA hate support of other companies and live chat with employers...
How someone should be smart to give you serial number of their product. That's 5 seconds job.
Instead of that employers for Samsung 850 EVO 1TB congrats me on NEW TV.
God, aliens, please, our planet... humans, we don't deserve to spend air any more.
We complicate wherever is possible. Imagine that employer can't check in book on computer of their product and give serial number.
What if someone ask some complicate information how to fix problems... That's like you try to learn monkey to make you coffee.

Yeah Samsung support is really a headache...  I've dealt with them on RMAs at work with monitors and because it's such a hassle there I have switched over to ViewSonic.  I don't have time to play games when it's affecting business.  I do agree that the Samsung SSD are the best I have used.  I have an 830, 840 EVO, and 850 PRO in different computers at home with no problem.  I have deployed some ADATA SP550 and SanDisk drives at work in some machines and they have also proven to be reliable for us.  They can usually be found a little cheaper and have some lower benchmark scores but real life difference isn't that big though.

Intel launched Series 540 budget 1TB SSD with similar price.
I try to find information about them. I would like all storage device in signature by Intel.
But it's bad because they didn't launch competitive M.2 drive with Samsung. And Intel 730 SSD cost more.

I've got a 1TB 840 EVO in my laptop, and a 1TB 850 EVO in this desktop. I have no idea how they compare to the m.2 and whatever is out there now, but they revolutionized my user experience - especially on the laptop. And they're much cheaper than, say, the 512mb m.2 Samsung 950 Pro, which costs more for half the storage.

I've read reviews where people drooled over the improved data rates and IOPS and whatever else of the new drives, but then load times into Windows or into games didn't change much with the new SSDs over the ones like the 850 EVO.

Oh, in the last couple of days Intel released a whole new line of drives, the 600p, that are being talked about now, and should be available within days.

In fact, check this out at Newegg, where a 3rd party reseller is advertising the 512mb OEM version 600p m.2 SSD for only $159.

Here's a little blurb about the new Intel 600p m.2 drives.

No, I need specific SATA III 1TB SSD, and I will buy M.2 when SM961 become available in Hungary or if 960 PRO show up in mean time.
First time in life I will spend over 500 euro from once on Storage.
But OK, I sold old Z77 platform and I will buy SATA III SSD 1TB for that money and one good mouse later.
For M.2 I saved money before 3-4 weeks now only to choose model.
That will be enough for me for next few years, 512GB for OS + 1TB SSD.
I would go even on slower SSD 2TB but I can't find for similar price. They are expensive.
Big SSD is great investment, because they could be installed in very small cases with small power consumption or laptops.
First I thought to buy 4TB WD Black but I don't need that or even 512+512GB but one bigger 1TB is better as drive for games.
People still mostly buy 250-500GB SSD and 1TB is excellent.
In first moment I thought one big WD Black 2-4TB will be nice, than I remember Why not 1TB cheaper SSD, anyway it's not for OS drive?
I always need around 750GB space. Movies and some games are on external HDD.

    Thanks.
Yes, SM961 is great. It's better option than 950 PRO.
Because of that I decide to wait him.
And guy who sell will pay attention this week for 1TB 850 EVO with blue V on box V-NAND, that's new version.
I told him to buy him for me. Than I don't need to think on space.
    380 euro is M.2 in Serbia and 360-420 euro 1TB 850 EVO...
And I will buy him for 280 or 240 euro depend of M.2 model and 260 euro for 1TB SSD.
I will save a lot, best of all is because I pay to postman when package arrive and no extra cost, shipping, etc...
