So I have a built a pretty badass pc and have been setting it up and overclocked the cpu and memory and started overclocking the evga 1080 ftw and for some reason my gpu wouldn't go above 1721 so I hit kboost and now my desktop is huge my taskbar is double spaced and my Logitech g510s screen keeps shutting off. All this happen right when I hit the kboost button. Does any one know how to undo whatever kboost did?
pc specs.

asus x99 deluxe 2
corsair 2400 MHz
Samsung pro 850 ssd
evga gtx 1080 ftw
corsair h115i water cooler

Tried booting into Safe Mode ?
Remove the Precision, if you can not adjust it.
I'm guessing it starts with Windows automatically

I had to unlock my toolbar and move it. Not sure what it all change. Time to check everything out to make sure it working right. Played my first game of sc2 at 4k and got 200 fps with this card. Had a couple times where the screen gone black and came back at 60 fps not sure what that means.

Also - if your GPU frequency is limiting, check your GPU temperatures. The card will throttle the GPU more and more as it's temperature increases.

Precision x causes to many issues. Use msi afterburner instead.
I would love to use Afterburner, but I cant get a stable overclock with it. I can hit 2100 on my 1080 FE with PXOC but max I can get it on Afterburner is 1950 as my core voltage never goes up above 900mv and adding voltage doesnt work.

Used Afterburner ever since i got my EVGA card..no problems whatsover (using 4.3.0 beta 4)

Found out my problem. Afterburner works fine. And my First time score went up over 200 points with same settings as I had in Precision XOC.....

Found out my problem. Afterburner works fine. And my First time score went up over 200 points with same settings as I had in Precision XOC.....

Mostly stupidity on my part. MSI Kombustor must put a little more stress on the card as my gpu clocks were lower with the same clock settings as X OC so I had assumed (yeah I know) that Afterburner clock offset was different thans X OC, ie +200 core was calculated differently. No wonder why my computer would lock up at +300 core lol. Using Heaven benchmark I was getting the right core clock. Long story short, don't use Kombustor to monitor clock frequencies.....
Fire Strike went from 17077 to 17292.....
