Hello everyone,

A long time ago when I bought my computer, my friend who was really good at OC had put my configuration at 4 Ghz.

Now it is not my friend anymore and I had a recent problem with my graphic card which caused me a lot of blue screens.

I thought it was the OC, so I put by default my motherboard, now I am really sad because it was not the problem.

I changed my graphic card and I have no problem but it could be nice to get back with my old OC so I ask for your help to get my old configuration again :'(

Can you please help me ?

My configuration:
i7 920
X-58 Classified3
Corsair DDR3 2x2 go 1600 Mhz

Did you check in the BIOS to see if he saved the OC settings as a profile?

On the main menu you'll see a "Frequency/Voltage Control" section.  Inside there you'll find saved profiles if any have been saved.  It's near the bottom of that screen.  If he did save the settings as a profile, you'd want to click on "Load Profile".  When that opens up, hopefully you'll find he saved the settings for you...

This. Hopefully this is a profile. If not, don't sweat it. X58 is super easy to OC and there are a TON of guides out there. Getting a 920 to 4ghz is easy.

Hello guys, sorry for the delay !

    Nothing was saved :'(

I saw on youtube that it's really easy to do, but i don't really trust this kind of video. I prefer a real guide with pictures haha

Do you have a written guide in your stock that I can trust ?

    Thanks in advance !

Since you say you're a noob, having an understanding of terms, functions, and settings are pretty important to learn.  Try this guide.  It's pretty detailed and informative.  >>  http://forums.evga.com/Simple-X58-Overclocking-for-Dummies-m81651.aspx
