I just installed Crysis again just for kicks. It's still a fun game.
Awesome. I play it also and have a pretty good compilation of mods, textures, and Reshade going on. Took me a while to get all several mods working at once, but still needs a bit of tweaking on the sweet fx preset.

I've been playing BF2 with the Forgotten Hope 2 mod recently. It's a very well done WWII mod, detailed weapons and maps, Hurtgen Forest is my favorite one.  Getting the itch to start playing some MW4 Mercs as well, I just have to get around to installing the performance patch because it currently runs at a locked 26 FPS which is no fun.

I still play Day of Defeat fairly often. The original, before the source engine. Mostly bots in the servers but there are a couple servers that still have real players.

I put arcanum in the other day about a week ago. While it did "play", there was fixes that had to be applied which were easily able to be found via Google. Was fun for a while. It's not as fun as neverwinter nights though

Went to a local retro game store and bought 10 games for around $40. Found the original Homeworld (it may be a European copy because it has a PEGI rating instead of the ESRB). It plays on Windows 7 with no issues and no compatibility mode needed. It is recommended to patch the game to 1.05. Here is a link if somebody is looking for a patch. http://www.sierrahelp.com/Patches-Updates/Patches-Updates-Games/HomeworldSeriesUpdates.html I also bought Delta Force 1, Delta Force 2 and Delta Force Land Warrior from Novalogic, Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, FEAR 2, Half Life 2, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear (and the mission pack Urban Operations), Rainbow Six: Covert Ops Essentials and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. The PC games are $3.95 but they had a buy 2 get 1 free sale :D

Haha mine too..Ive recently been playing Secret of Monkey island and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, still great adventures. Also Baldurs gate 2,i always go back to it. And im playing Ur Quan Masters hd (its free)..its a fantastic Star Control 2 remake

I'm pretty well covered, and heck I can slow down the K6 by disabling the cache's and dropping the clock speed to 2.5 x 66 for 166mhz without cache its about as fast as a 286 lol.

ebay friends, old OEM computers going to a scrap heap. Honestly to save time go look for an old Optiplex 745/755 thats being retired, they sell for right around 40 around me, throw in a video card, they have a Windows XP license on the box usually and your all set, of course your limited to a single slot card. Or go all out and talk to the folks over at vogons, they will get you set on the right track, but be warned you will end up with more stuff than you know what to do with lol.

I have a machine with XP on it so I can play older games. Have psychonauts, Myst Uru, on it. I'm into old school adventure games. Myst series, The Longest Journey, Syberia, etc. Speaking of which Syberia 3 is coming out later this year!

The oldest game I've played lately is Civ V. Once Civ VI comes out and if it's a true successor, then Civ V will collect digital dust in my Steam library.
