Newegg currently has the X10 Carbon for $42 and I'm considering buying it. Are you guys happy with your mouse? Any other suggestions around the $40 price range?

Thanks guys!

I just started using mine and so far I am liking it. I didn't install the software for it yet because I think it is basically for assigning buttons and I don't need to do that.

How does it compare to other mice such as the Chroma? I'm not looking for a mouse with 40 buttons (hence why I like both the Chroma and the X10).

I was using a Corsair M65 RGB White but I didn't like the back-page side button being too sensitive. I have used a CM Spawn, Torq X3L, and many others. I used the heaviest weights in this and I like it but the LMB and RMB seem a little stiff. Maybe I just need to get used to the smaller size.

There is a red button on the bottom to change the color profile. I installed Unleash this morning anyway. I didn't see anything about creating a custom color but I wasn't looking real close either. The default dpi is just about right so I didn't mess with that. I didn't create any Macros or reassign and buttons either. I just created a Desktop shortcut and disabled it from starting with Windows. I figure I only need it to make adjustments so why have it running at startup? (You know I need the red color profile to match my Corsair K70, right?)

Just one tip. Don't pay attention to the instructions on where to place the anti-slip pads. Once they're on you can't get them off again to move them. I should have placed the right side all of the way to the front. I put it where the instruction manual said to put it and now my finger only touches the very front tip of it. Not very useful for getting a firm grip on your mouse. On top of all that, my finger is starting to 'fray' the tip of the pad.

I don't think you need them. Mine came with a diagram in the box about where to put them and now I can't get them off!

I wish I moved the one on the right farther forward because my finger doesn't touch anything but the tip and it kind of 'sticks' the side of my finger. I should have put it as far front as possible but now I can't move it. LOL

lol i just put one on the left for my thumb i was too scared i would mess up to put it on the right so i got a spare left in case it starts coming off but i cant seem to figure out the name for the pads and how to search for them on google im sure someone makes custom ones to put on it.

How do I do that? I am on the page and there is nothing to click to claim it. My shipping address is entered and correct but there is a notice that "No shipping record found. Please email us if you have any questions." Does this mean you don't remember shipping me my Torq X10 Carbon mouse or what?
