Has anyone tried the new 1080 or 1070 with a SR-2? I have a GTX 970 and looking to upgrade. I know the 980ti works, but haven't seen any posts with the 1080.

    They probably do work, but NF200 PCIe bridges are known for random weird compatibility issues.

    I got my two 1080 ftw hc's in sli in an SR-2 with windows 10 and it works great. Gave my system greater stability vs quad 580's. The 1080's works wonders folding also so you know system stability is good. Sadly I still don't have enough time to game on these but I did do benchmarks with no problems.

    Hey thats good SLI works. I went with one 1070 and it is perfect for gaming while running handbrake at the same time. Still love this system.

    I can also confirm that 1080 FTW's work in SLI on the SR2.
