Anyone else notice vulcan or dx12 doesn't work so well on a heavy overclock? I can run 1,512mhz in opengl in doom or do a firestrike run. But if I were to run vulcan or time spy, it will crash and I need to lower my clocks.

I was able to get higher clocks on Timespy than I have been able to get on Firestrike.

I am having an issue, if I try to overclock in 3 way sli, it just fails before it starts the benchmark with no notice of why. It just says "failed".

Anyone else have any idea what is wrong with it?

It gets past rhe "gathering system information" and just fails immediately.

Does this only occur in 3-way?

It kept happening with 2 way, and I restart it many times and finally got it to work, and now it is happening with 3 way overclock. With 3 way standard, it seems to work fine.

What happens when you run your cpu/ram at stock clocks with only the gpu's overclocked?

14,178 combined score. Good enough for 26th place on 3 980Ti's.

17,496 Graphics

Still seeing some really nasty frame rate drops right at the beginning of the bench, but....managed to find the 6.5k graphics score I'd been looking for.

Yeah, I had to scale back on the memory OC in order to keep my core clock around 1520MHz.  I didn't have this issue with Fire Strike.

Has anyone tried mixing different GPUs for this benchmark?  I was thinking about throwing my old GTX 680 along with my two 980 Ti's to test it.

I'm in the step up queue to trade in these 980tis for the 1080s.  Hopefully, my turn comes up pretty soon.  Been almost 2 months now.

I got mine the same day but have a microcenter about 30 minutes away of so. I got both my 980 ti's and and 1080 classifieds from there.

for grins i tried it with a 1060 and 980ti together, resulted in a very subtle decrease in my performance (within error, but maybe due to the fact they are at x8 instead of x16 for single card). basically, the 1060 didn't do anything useful.

I wanted to post my EVGA 980ti SC 3 Way SLI score using a EVGA Z170 Classified E179 board since you don't see to many of them.

Again, I want to thank Sajin and the rest of the crew on the GTX 980 TI BIOS/Voltage thread, I used the 1420 BIOS to get these results. It is currently the highest TimeSpy score for 3 way SLI using a i7 6700K processor just beating out the Gigabyte Z170 G1 and 3 Gigabyte 980ti's

Back on Aug. 5th Ran a quick Time Spy Bench in 3-way SLI with the 980 Ti Classys at Stock settings and the 5960X Overclocked at 4835MHz and it was good enough for Position #13 in the 3X HOF.

Guess I could have Overclocked the Graphics Cards for a higher Graphics and Overall Score, But unfortunately I don't have them installed anymore in my RVE.
