Titan x help

i have titan x, i installed evga hybrid cooler 980 ti and its fit and work 100% but i have problem the fan of the gpu run full-speed and back to normal sometime take time to back normal. i try to use afterburner to adjust the fun speed but nothing happened. and the card temp when i play its around 40-50 but the gpu fan will run full speed.
anyone can help me with that?

    Have you tried to use Precision X instead of Afterburner?

    looks like it is set to "auto" button is white
     
    click the start with Windows
     
    press the test button

    Sounds like the fan controller is having a problem.
