Me neither tbh. I kinda gave up hope into getting an AIO 1080 tbh. Not living in the u.s. has many disadvantages for me. I cant order anything on newegg n'or evga's main site due no delivery to forwarder. Ebay's price are going for 1300 dollars and amazon 999.99. none of these gets the product as fast as newegg and even if they do the next week snipers will buy them 3minutes after it gets in stock and resell them for 999.99
I think i just have to snag a FTW 1080 or an msi gaming x ones 1 of them gets in stock

Nice rig! What are your temps like and what fan did you replace the stock fan with? Did it make a difference in temps? Also, what case is that? Oh and what's your favorite color ;)

You ran the test at 1080 resolution.  Do you have a 2K or 4K monitor to re-run your test??

I would like to see your "extreme" with your new video card :)

So I was under the impression that the hybrid kits only worked on FTW cards. I did not realize they worked on FE cards.

Actually, the new Hybrid kit that is out now ONLY works on reference boards. They have one coming for the FTW boards.

PasTecHi
I think i just have to snag a FTW 1080 or an msi gaming x ones 1 of them gets in stock

I'm in a similar situation, can only buy from Amazon, Newegg or B&H.

Was waiting for the AIO hybrid but god knows when I'll be able to get one, have been without a GPU for two months now so just now grabbed an 1080 SC-ACX from Amazon for $649 and have a hybrid kit on backorder.

All but the FTW and classified have a reference PCB.  In fact, under the serial number sticker, it actually says NVIDIA.  Look at the compatibility list on the product page.

One pointer, you want to turn the rear radiator the other way around so the tubes are coming out of the bottom. I've mounted an AIO cooler not quite the right way before myself and it caused micro bubbles to wind up in the pump and cause a lot of noise. It also makes the pump work harder. If you put the tubes at the bottom, gravity means the pump isn't 'pulling' the water all the way up the radiator and also means any micro bubbles forming will end up at the top of the radiator and wont be in danger of getting circulated down the tube and ending up in the pump.

Here's a recent GamersNexus video where he talks about this and shows the best way to do it:

:EDIT: well it wont let me post a youtube link, the video title is "Ask GN 23: RX 490 Talk, GPU Power %, Driver Performance" and  the relevant part is about 8 minutes 40 secs.

Thanks Dandi,
I had considered that when doing the first install in the pic, but the positioning was causing tension & kinking on the lines & fittings I really didn't dig on. I just got my second one, and now the plan is to tap and cut the plexi on my case so that both radiators will be mounted directly out the side. Trying to criss cross the tubing so that the circuit of flow is ventral into the cooler is not working out. Looked like an MC Escher pic when I tried it.

I am everyday but i wasnt focused on the hybrid kit. Kinda wanted the sea hawk or gb waterforce since i have not hear anything of the 1080 hybrid. Then i started checking for the evga FTW but it ran out of stock when i went to purchase lol. Now that i am thinking i can get the stck acx evga 1080 and swap it with a hybrid, or a sc acx then swap...but then again the hybrid kit was unavailable for a couple of days on amazon lol. Hopefully by thursday i can make my purchase

I saw the Zotac 1080 for sale this morning. I'm sooooooo tempted to get it and just toss a hybrid cooler on it. After all that is the end game. A hybrid 1080. I just replaced the thermal paste on my 980 ti hybrid and that rascal stays at a nice 53c at 1440/60+ at Witcher 3 minus HW.

Call me a nut job but sometimes I will just let the game sit and just enjoy the beauty of what's going on. Just had a ridiculous cutscene in the first expansion with all sorts of fire going on in the background. I just sat and let it run. Admiring the scenery and watching to see if the card goes any higher. I clearly have issues. I would marry my 980 ti if I could bring it into the real world as a 30 year old Salma Hayek. At the least fornicate the snot out of it until I'm tired of hearing it talk then turn it back into a video card......

Jacob said on Twitter that they were monitoring daily on the Hybrid and were hoping for next week.  If someone already mentioned it, sorry.  I'm not reading back through all of this at this point.

I'd say with what you ordered and the kit once it arrives you will be pleased anyway.  You may be pleased without the hybrid kit anyway....
