Hey, what's up. I watched the live stream about building the computer on facebook. It looked cool and I noticed a lot of cables being run all over the place to keep the components hooked together. In the past I've always dealt with pre-built PCs. I think my Dell Dimension e520 died. So I guess I will in the future make a new desktop. The e520 was great. It ran XP and just after the OS was rendered obsolete by Microsoft, the hard drive crashed. It ran great games like Lord of the Rings Online and WOW and did a pretty good job of running a bunch of other games. I noticed the Pentium D processor ran at 2.80ghz while a new game like MGS V: Phantom Pain needed 3.40ghz. My sister had got me a Dell Insprion i660s SFF PC with a Pentium G-something processor. That PC ran Skyrim before it broke down and was subsequently stolen. Well anyway, I am hoping that PP will run okay on a used Playstation 3 I ordered on Ebay. But I am severely tempted to play this game on a PC. Just so I don't have to lug around more than one machine. So I hope you get a flavor of what kinda games I want to play. Nothing new, really. Doesn't have to be awesome. Less than a thousand would be okay with me. So I checked out Amazon out of curiosity. "Orign PC" brought up computers by other companies like a Cybertron PC.

Hey there! Is any friend of yours familiar with building computers? If so, then you could ask them to come do it with you. If not, then theres need to be careful. Proceed, first we need build up. Where are you located? And what do you need, other than PC itself (like peripherals, monitors etc.)? Building computer is really easy, its like puzzle. 1 piece goes to only one place. Its fun though when you get the drift, but be careful it can be addictive too

HI! I have a laptop already but it stinks at gaming. I live in Bucks County, PA. Specifically Morrisville. Some computer repair guy offered to build a PC if I gave him the parts but he charges 100 dollars per hour. Kinda far from me is PCNU. They have a shop in Huntington Valley. I have bad eye sight so my glasses keep falling off when I try to "fix" a PC or I can't see what the heck I'm doing. I have a friend who is okay with using the screw driver if I tell him what to do with the parts. I have a widescreen TV that doubles as a monitor plus an old regular VGA monitor from Dell. I also have a ATI Radeon 6450 HD graphics card (PCIe) I used to use in the Dell. Right now all I play is Ultima Online. None of my steam games runs fast or at an acceptable rate but Hero Engine is stable.

stalinx20 has very good tip. There are pretty much everything explained with pics. I will check later some build for you. Ubi-CainDon't worry... it really is a bit like playing with high tech LEGO. Edit: Aww, cant post links. Its in 2 parts, first part is picking everything and second building.

I'm down the road a piece in Bensalem, Pa. If you want I can PM you my email and can give you a little help or advice from things I have learned since my first build in 2010 when my Dell XPS2400 suffered a fatal injury when I dropped a screwdriver in the CPU socket.

Sorry, I totally forgot this whole existence. Did you and Zuhl get some sort of deal going on privately?

I haven't heard from him. He must have struck a deal with his local PC shop. I rarely charge more than $200 for the whole thing.

I have a PC here that would make a nice platform for gaming with only a few upgrades: http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=35772It's not going to do much gaming as it sits but upgrading to a i7-4790k or even a i5-4690k and a GTX-1060 would put him in the $1000 ballpark.
