Unfortunately, we do not have a classy K board available. Currently there is nothing that suggest that we will have this model available anytime soon, but that doesn't mean that it isn't a future possibility.

I am still crossing my fingers for a X99 dark/classified k/ whatever soon. My external SSD uses type-c and would be nice to use it on my PC with type-c.

My honest opinion. At this moment in time I don't really need Classy Dark/2/K/whatever moniker. It will arrive simply far too late to the market to be relevant at all (doubt that anyone will be bothered with waterblock for it - at least for original Classy, Bitspower released one which is a bit top secret because many folks don't know that - yeah including you Jay2¢ for RedMist refit which got me LOL really hard).

If it comes soon I will think about it (even considering the fact that I have spare Classy lying around gathering dust LOL). Most certainly I will not move to Skylake-E/X-whatever because of enforced Winblow$10-only support. Waiting for Zen. Want to see what AMD finally brings to the market. Looking forward to these multi-core monsters, even if only on par with Intel I'll finally try something new from AMD, although without EVGA motherboard. :( And if AMD won't enforce OS restrictions on AM4 platform then we have a winner here!

I've been very satisfied with my EVGA X99 Classy board.  Since you got the 6950 as a gift, I'd pick either the X99 FTW K or the Classy.  Whichever suits your needs the best...

Will the ftw k give my a good stabel overclock , with his 8 phase ? I use a chiller 24/7 so temp isn't a problem.

( i like the ftw k with the grey E instat off the red E on de classified . Better is the classified with a grey letter E )

If something work good on EVGA boards that's CPU overclocking.
You will see here on forum there are a lot of people with nicely overclocked CPU, because it's simple and hardware is good.
FTW-K is better board than Classified if someone now want to build X99 RIG.
RVE and R10THE have same 8 phases.

You can easy to change color on heatsink, JayzTwoCents show that on X99 Classified.
They cover with black, but I think grey color fit better with newer EVGA hardware ACX 3.0, Hybrid, Platinum and Titanium PSU, than red.
Anyway in most RIGs it's not possible to see other colors if only small details are red.

You will see board mostly as black only...

I can't imagine you having any trouble overclocking on either board.

People maybe want premium EVGA board and immediately think on Classified.
But this EVGA X99 FTW-Killer is very similar to Classified boards only with more features.
Even size is E-ATX as premium boards. I like these cubic SATA connectors,
these type is best on market, but some producers don't want to use them.

I am impressed with the FTW K motherboard. Though I am still working on the extensive water loop, I did run a full series of benchmarks and stress tests on the board out of system. Total run time was 26 hours, plus another 8 - 9 hours a day later. The G.Skill 3200 RAM (32GB -  4 sticks) purchased for this build ran flawless at 3200 speed. I thought the FTW K looked good in the pictures, it looks better (at least to me) in person.

I am waiting to see what AMD can muster with Zen and the RX 490. It would be nice if EVGA considered making boards to support AMD as well. Competition is a good thing. American politics is a great example of no competition and look where that has us now! A duopoly that have it all locked up and get nothing done. Imagine if Intel and Nvidia end up being the only two in their respective products.

I will stay loyal to Intel.
Last AMD I bought was slow for premium GeForce for 2 years and Intel after more than 3 year worked as first day.
    I love Intel i7.

All my EVGA hardware looked better in hand than on pictures from net.
I suppose it's same with X99 FTW-K. But still people connect FTW with mid range board and you see ask for Classified.
But now FTW-K replace Classified board.

That is understandable. Intel makes good quality products barring the occasional miscue here and there.

I don't have a steadfast loyalty to many brands. Any brand of any product has to prove to me they have the quality, price and features I want in order for me to purchase them. If brand "A" falls down and brand "B" outshines them, I am moving on to "B" until such time "A" gets their stuff together again. Even then, brand "A" doesn't automatically regain my trust and business. They now have to compete with "B" for both.

I think there should be a design that allows you to change these colors whether it be magnetic and or snap on/off.  I think that would solve alot of coloring issues with many and just differentiate the boards based on capabilities and features.  I believe that would solve many issues and increase sales.  ;)

I've said this quite a few times around here for the longest time so if that's the case, they're taking my idea.   Just wished EVGA did the same.

has removable stickers for the chipset and io shield logos comes with like 4 colors.

Actually those aren't removable and that's not what I was saying or they're saying. That is RGB lightening and not replaceable.

Wish EVGA did something like this regardless but I wasn't referring to something like this which would add more cost to the line which I'm sure EVGA doesn't want to cross and be within reasonable ranges as they always have.

The chipset and I/O shield where you see the ROG eye and strix letters actually has removable stickers. The RGB lighting on these is actually only under the I/O shield and on the PCIE slots.
The board comes with 4 stickers. red, pink, green, and silver. They make it look like its "Aura lighting in the add but really they are just stickers. If you read close under the under lighting header it mentions the decals.
