As I think now the whole forum will know xD , I had big problems with my GTX960 , before stuttering and low performance, then only low performance , then problems of GPU usage, and now after all these serious problems are gone i seem to have arrived at the last step xD, My problem is that: I get the micro-stuttering (short-term) and normal stuttering for other games i've get this in my gameplay on game like Minecraft but also simply during PC normal usage for example to watch videos on Youtube, i tried to use LatencyMoon to check the results and other tools, everything results seems to be perfect.. Guys have any advice? micro-stuttering (lasting only a few milliseconds) but are noted as often happens and Normal stuttering appears with about 1 seconds duration (The stuttering hits audio and video) ------------------------------------------------------------CARD PERFORMANCE AND STUTTERING DETAILS-------------------------------------------------------- Minecraft FPS: (No texturepack): 500-700 with up to 1000FPS in some areas Minecraft FPS: (SEUS Shaders ULTRA): 45-60 up to 70 Minecraft FPS: (PureDBCraft x256): 250/350 up to 400FPS in some areas Minecraft ULTRA Settings (8 Chunks, grapichs improved with Optifine) Stuttering: Yes Type: Insistent micro-stuttering Info: Lagometer show Orange bar, when orange bar appears it stutter and show a HDD MB/s in stuttering moment Example: 102MB/s (It number is always different) Farcry 3 Blood Dragon: Min.48 / Avg. 70-75 / Max. 112 [MAX SETTING, NO MSAA, HBAO] Stuttering: Yes Type: Normal Stuttering Firewatch: Min. 53 / Avg. 83-74 / Max. 115 [ALL AT MAXIMUM but World Details at High] Stuttering: Yes Type: Insistent Normal/Hard stuttering when Run GTA V: 38-45FPS (Almost Maxed + 4X MSAA + FXAA on DX10.1) (Advanced option ON) Stuttering: Only few time Type: Micro-stuttering 3DMark 11 Results: 6365 (Firestrike) [Last test executed 2m ago] 3DMark 11 Results: 2390 (Time Spy) [Last test executed 2m ago] K-Boost: [ACTIVE] mV: [+0] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System Specs: CPU: AMD-FX 8370E 3.3GHz @Turbo OC 4.3GHz CPU Details: (AMD TurboCore, The freq. varies to 3.3GHz from 4.3GHz] RAM: G-SKILL 8GB DDR3 1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA GTX960 SuperSC 2GB GDDR5 CASE: Zalman Z11 PSU: Kolink KL-600W (80Plus Bronze, 37.5A - V12 Single rail) HDD: 1TB TOSHIBA 7200RPM, SATA 2 HEATSINK: STOCK Info: I've tried to disable Turbo Core but nothing changed.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------TEMPERATURE-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEMP: GPU MAX=72-75C (seems good) TEMP: CPU MAX=60-58C (seems fine) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------NVIDIA SETTINGS----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've pratically changed my settings with this settings: http://www.evga.com/suppo...mmain.aspx?faqid=59641------------------------------------------------------------------------ --OTHER INFORMATION--------------------------------------------------------------------------When I had windows 7 games had absolutley very very low performance but no stuttering,On Windows 10 the same thing, but after a DDU and have installed the latest version of the drivers now performances have increased exponentially, but I have a lot of stuttering. :(

960 2GB or 4GB? What is your VRAM usage when stuttering occurs? As in, if you have a 2GB card and are seeing 2GB or more in use, you need to lower graphics settings because your computer has to load textures from your system RAM, which causes "stuttering." That mine craft test that shows your hard drive in use - that could very well mean that your hard drive is being queried to load up new textures for the game, and is the cause of the "stuttering." You may need to find updated SATA drivers for your motherboard, or just get a SSD, to mitigate the slow texture load. If you installed Geforce Experience, uninstall that junk in safe mode with DDU. Install the latest drivers after a reboot, and select cuatom install and install only PhysX and the Driver. Lastly, lower your settings. Lower them to minimum. Does the "stuttering" stop? If so, slowly, one setting at a time, raise settings for each game to the point that it doesn't stutter but looks better - be mindful that different areas in games can use more video memory, and if you hit 2GB you will get "stuttering" because the system has to load texture memory into the slower system RAM.

I've 2GB version On Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon [ULTRA](MICRO-STUTTERING/STUTTERING) my VRam usage is about 700MB and on Firewatch about 1850MB (Micro-stuttering when run in the game) LAST SATA Driver installed, in Minecraft when loading chuncks i get on a lagometer a white normal little frame drop (unnoticeable), i get the orange spikes when normal walking in already chunks loaded zone I do not have GeForce experience (DDU Performed 3 days ago) (i've installed only Grapichs driver and PhysX system software) Now i will try to lower the setting UP: Hard stuttering gone in firewatch, i get only micro-stuttering now (I opened hpet) Minecraft at low setting: Stuttering remain (Micro-stuttering) Stuttering lowered after opening hpet I'm downloading from steam black ops 3 , that will be the crucial test , I have almost finished downloading

Motion blur is a hard hit to performance. I disable it in all of my games especially Multi-player games since it is only visible to me. Give that a try and see if you have any improvement.

Stuttering decreased, but i get hard stuttering and micro-stuttering anyway PS: now my frame rate is: Min.50 / Avg.73-80 / Max: 120 before the frame rate was locked to 60

OK, making progress. I would change the X2 Filmic SMAA to ' 4X MSAA'. That Filmic setting is a huge performance hit and little is known about it. See post #2 here: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2363988/filmic-smaa.htmlI use 4X MSAA in all of my games with Anisotropic Filtering at 16X. That should give you a nice clear image.

Stuttering is usally caused by a graphics setting that uses more VRAM than what your video board has. Remember you only have 2 GB to work with.

There is a whole chart of different AA settings for BO3 and how much each will impact performance. Just start at the bottom until you get a nice looking screen without stuttering. Do the same for each game you play. I never played any of these games. BO2 was the last I played. A member who plays these other games and is familiar with the problems they can have might be able to give you better suggestions or know how to fix it right away. Turn 'Shadows' down to low or medium for one.

Bad news , unfortunately with the game progresses the stuttering persists, I also just tried to make another DDU , nothing changed, still the same, if I disable the k -boost the use of the GPU continues to fluctuate , there was a period when the stuttering stopped but I had low prestazioni..now I would simply use my card :( @ Zuhl3156 @ Sajin @ Carbonshape
