So I finally got around to upgrading my x58 e760 i7 930, and today swapped it out for an i7 6800k x99 classified and 16gb corsair dominator platinum 3000mhz ddr4. With doing this I now cannot get the computer to post. The error code holds at 60 before restarting, I've tried reseating everything, running with just one stick of ram, swapping between the two sticks, and it will not post. Any tips?

You need the updated 2.02 BIOS for the X99 Classified to work with a 6800K - Broadwell-e compatibility was added with the 2.02 BIOS, which does not ship with the X99 Classified.

Register your motherboard and then call up or email EVGA's tech support and request a BIOS chip with the 2.02 BIOS be sent out to you - it's free! (BIOS 3 is a removable BIOS for just this instance)

EDIT: Or if you can find someone that will lend you a Haswell-e CPU so you can flash your X99 Classified to 2.02, that would work as well.

Thank you very much, I figured it was a bios issue but had no clue how I was going to solve it. Appareciate it.

    Yepper!

EVGA's tech support should hook you up in no time. Just be careful with the BIOS chip - those things are TINY! (and easily dropped/lost)
