I told you Hybrid is Our Savior.
Many people will made mistake with Strix, G1, Gaming and other non AIO coolers.
But never mind, they will fix mistake next year. Demand for EVGA Hybrid will grow every year and for 2 years 50% of customers will have cards with AIO.
Same was when CORSAIR launched H50 and H70, only dominance of All in One Liquid Coolers in cooling graphic cards is bigger than in CPU.
First CPU AIO barely give similar performance as Tower Air coolers. From other side Hybrid give more than 20C lower temps.

Well I slapped two AiO coolers for a 980Ti on my 2x FE 1080s, and they're doing great in SLI so far.

Still putting them through the paces but so far I have a super steady 2012Mhz clock with a +300Mhz memory offset, not extra voltage, plenty of headroom left - never got over 45c on either card.

FYI 980Ti AiO coolers are only $60 on Amazon right now...

Please keep us posted. pics. we want more pics

Do they automatically adjust fan speed as the temperature goes up/down?

Is the wiring the same as the 980ti or did you have to cobble things up?

I'm wondering where I would put 2 120mm coolers, since I've been advised that they shouldn't go down to the floor of the case. (and still be able to exhaust the hot air.

I have a user defined curve through MSI Afterburner, so the fan adjusts as the temperature changes per my specifications. The wiring is the same, you just have to take out the large heat sink over the GPU and it's cover. The height profile is the same as a normal 1080.

I have two 140mm fans venting my CPU though the top of my case. One GPU fan is attached to the upper rear exhaust port, the other actually snakes outside my case and is attached to the outside of the side exhaust area, with the fan set to pull the air through. I removed the plastic side window to achieve this.

It's all a bit rough at the moment, I'm just playing around. I'll create a more permanent solution eventually.

When the new MSI AB gets out of beta I'll try it out, you can't add voltage until then.

Which part, the hybrid edition or the power limit the 1080 smashes face first into between 2050 - 2100 Mhz?

LMAO i really am stupid.
So if you look at the pic i took before you can see the fan behind top GPU is sitting flat i found this actually is restricting for that fan to cool top card.

So i angled and low and behold card runs much cooler and 10 degree difference turned to be only 1 degree

GPU @2000Mhz
custom fan profile up to 80%

Before
GPU1 85c
GPU2 74c

After
GPU1 75c
GPU2 74c

edit

Firestrike at 2000Mhz

Great news. I have an FE, but would someday like to make it quieter via a hybrid kit. I'm fine with the fact that FE can only be bumped up a small bit as far as OC is concerned... I use a small ITX case, so the quiet and cool benefits of the hybrid kit would be what I'm in it for.

Will the Hybrid kit for founders edition be available around the same time the Hybrid comes out?
