Haven't seen the episode yet but people were talking about it last night playing Arma 3 Desolation so eye know what you are talking about lol.

Quit watching over a year ago. I can't stand AMC's business practices and the show went SJW. I fully think the vast majority of the people that watch it don't actually like the show, but rather just participate in order to be in the known when people talk about it. I feel like a lot of TV viewership fulls under this practice.

A friend watches shows just so hes in the known when people at work talk about it. I find it pointless to watch show if i don't care about it.

It has it's many to often slow parts but is still entertaining enough to DVR & keep watching......

I start to look The Walking Dead first time in July 2016 and for last 20 days I watch 6 season, all episodes and now I have 4-5 episodes to the end.
Series is great, but many people lost their lives because personal stupidity and their character... I expect more fights with zombies, hunting zombies, etc... Best weapon for zombies are Katana and tactical shutgun and M27... And some pistol just in case. 
Rick and his son killed around hundred zombies with two rifles only...
Imagine than 20-30 people trained with shotgun and katana for close combat and M27 with optic for little higher distance.
I would remove guns from helicopter or planes and put on walls with movement detector to keep town safe not people with pistols. 
Humvees with granade launchers for supplies, Stryker armor personnel carrier and similar vehicles for big distance... They go in fight with knives, ...
Immediately in military base weapons, ammunition, food, ... in armor personnel carrier 10 people could live inside surrounded by zombies they can't enter inside, no way... you can fire signal rocket and all of stupid zombies will gone on one side and you can do what you want... You can sit on top and whole day to shot in them.  

The first few seasons were great but it's gone downhill for me. I know they are losing viewers each season, I would say make this the last season and have a good ending to it. Even if it is Carl doing a narrative 10 years latter as a leader and Ric dies would be better than waiting for the rating to sink and then get cancelled. I hate when a show doesn't have an ending.

I don't remember ever watching an entire episode. Zombies are overrated these days. Everywhere you look there is nothing but Zombies, Zombies and more Zombies.

For me its all about how humanity deals without power, logistics, and actual infrastructure.  They always keep going on "runs" for supplies, but at some point they will run out of canned food.  They will have to hunt, grow crops, blacksmith etc.  Thats the part I like to see. 
 
And this sort of qualifies as a necro-post btw... for all you necros.

It definitely has it's up  & downs -  great parts , then boring parts.

I dropped watching it early in the 4th season. Episodic serials are hard to get back into once dropped.
