I just purchased the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 T2

Is there any reason why the sleeved cables would not fit the power supply I just purchased?

If they're not listed as being compatible then I wouldn't even try using them. There are different power pinouts between the different models of EVGA power suplies. Each one requires its own special cable set.

Gotcha. I would assume that since these are a newer power supply that sleeved cable might be in the near future?

I would go out on a limb here and say yes but only one of the EVGA techs will know for sure about how soon or if there are any plans for them.

Is it possible that you purchased these http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-CR-1050-B9 cables on accident? The ones you listed should be compatible with your PSU, but the GS/PS cables will not work for a T2 supply.

Please contact us directly at support@evga.com if there are any discrepancies between what you received and what is listed on the product page.

You can see how there is a difference of opinion even among the techs. I would wait and see what BrandonS comes up with and take it from there. No sense in taking chances.

ok. I would think that if the fittings on the end match then they should work, but that's just me. I will wait for confirmation because I think I want a set. I have a replacement mobo coming, new PS, so I guess while I'm tore down I could go back with new cables that look good!

It always baffled me as to why the pinout on fully modular PSU connectors weren't standardized. That would make replacing cables a breeze without having to order a special set specific only to the power supply that you own. You should see the fiasco I have for modular connectors on my PSU.

    Hi,

I can confirm that the G2, P2, and T2 cables are fully compatible with all EVGA G2, P2, and T2 power supplies.

    Sorry for any confusion.

EVGA have one version of cables for G2 - P2 - T2 models second version for GS - PS 550W - 650W models
    and third version same for GS - PS only 850W - 1050W - 1000W.
Special package is Addition Set for all 1600W models.

Nice... Guys with 550 GS, 650 GS 850 GS, 1050 GS and 1000 PS are not abandoned, they could use EVGA Sleeve Cables in warranty.
Looks like that's something new and customers of these models should know that. Few times they ask about compatibility with 1000 PS.

It's good to hear they had what you needed. They are nice cables and I was thinking of snagging a set and modding the connectors to fit my PSU.

Why not enjoy the fun and relaxation that sleeving your own cables provides?

Okay, Im being a bit facetious here.

While I do sleeve my own cables, I don't find it to be all that fun.  And in the end when all is said and done, the factory sleeved stuff is about the same price or marginally cheaper due to purchase of tools and sleeve.

That's not same as cables designed specific for some PSU.
At least EVGA PSU are not expensive and 850 P2 or 1000 P2 are enough for 90% configuration.
850 P2 and white Sleeve Cables are great.
Even 850 P2 is very powerfull PSU and could deliver real 850W and PSU case is small and fit in smaller PC case.
Example 850 P2 model could hold GTX980Ti SLI, TITAN X SLI or R9-290X/R9-390X CF and still will be small space free.

Great model for Wallmounted PC Case with visible PSU grill.
With E sign in middle look great.

Sadly my PSU uses CB Microphone connectors for its modular connections. I'd rather buy a set a pre-sleeved cablles and mod them rather than butchering my factory cables.

I would not lose time on such connectors. Special now when Titanium is available.
No reason to risk changing connectors on EVGA Sleeve cables. 150$ is not expensive for 10 years warranty.
Depend what you need but 850 P2 or 1000 T2 are great.
Special customers should pay attention on that two models because they are small for their power and could hold 2-3 graphic cards.
230$ are new PSU and Sleeve Cables. Immediately when package arrive for 30 min you can install new PSU and fantastic sleeve cables.
And you will not worry did you make mistake with one wire somewhere and what will happen.
