Is it possible to run an EVGA Classified SR-2 Like an EVGA Classifed X58 4Way?

So, I'm getting an SR-2 soon and wanted to know whether a i7 (980X,930) will fit in the SR-2 to just run it in single socket mode.

    Unfortunately you will need a Xeon to use the SR-2 board; you can see the CPU compatibility chart HERE.
