Hey guys so for 2 years now I've been using my 780 ti classified with no problem overclocked to 1202mhz.

However recently I started playing warframe and I put about 10 hours into it with no issues (and another 60 hour previously from about a year ago where I had no problems) then I go to play today and my game is suddenly freezing up on me (checked event viewer and it was saying "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered").  So I go and try my tried a true Final Fantasy XIV which I have 750 hours in with no crashes or problems at all and before I could even finish logging in that game crashed.  So first thing I tried was reinstalling drivers and validating game files, still crashing. So I turned off my PC and switched over to my other BIOS which is overclocked to 1137 mhz.

Warframe made it through roughly 20-25 min mission, Final Fantasy XIV Ran for 30 mins while I did a dungeon and unigine heaven ran for 30min without issue.

What are your thoughts on this?  Find it weird that it'd be stable for 2 years and now its having issues?

Have you tried running the games without overclock, see what happens...

Cards don't last forever, sounds like your card is starting to degrade already. Try bumping up the cards voltage when running at 1202 to see if it helps prevent the crashing.

No they won't last forever, but 2 years, is isn't that little premature they aren't exactly budget cards.
That's big reason I don't OC, the trade off it's not worth it

Premature? No. Cards can fail at anytime.

I know card can go south at any time but 2 years! it is short life for a card, even for OC card.
Man, I've had so many cards in my time I don't remember any of them ever  going bad, but I also never bother OCing them and I'm sure, that plays huge part in why they are still alive and well as I still have some of them.
If I'm wrong about that, than the quality today is way lower than it used to be.

We should stick with TITAN series for games.
I can bet TITAN X Hybrid will work years on 60C and some mid OC.
    They treat better TITAN series.

I have been experiencing similar problems on a freshly RMA'd card from EVGA.... part of me thinks that Nvidia's drivers have developed an issue with some games (My locked/reset drivers seem to happen with Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.)  Some have suggested a BIOS update to resolve but nothing conclusive and finding the right BIOS file seems to be eluding me.

Hope this helps, but I rather doubt it  :)
