It just got here. My, oh my, there's a lot of work to be done installing the special backplate but it'll be worth it. It looks like I'll have to completely remove my motherboard but who cares? Isn't she beautiful?

You also get to install the correct internal plate for your setup

I got a lot of reading to do before I install that. I think it already has the correct internal plate for the Intel Socket 115x platform. I hope I don't have to fiddle with that too!

The jet plate that comes installed is usually universal and works fantastic, unless you specifically pay for the 2011-3 version, which is prepped for... you guessed it... 2011-3 jet and mounting hardware.

Yeah, I got that 2011-3 jet plate floating around in the box. I also glimpsed in the manual where you can change the orientation of the current jet plate for some reason. I think it needs to be changed for AMD which doesn't affect me. IDK what all of the other fuss is about. Like I said, I need to do a lot of reading before I install this thing. I might have some single serving samples of genuine air from Slovenia I'd be willing to part with for the right price. LOL
