I purchased some EVGA DDR4 memory from Microcenter recently and want to register it so that the warranty remains valid. The product registration system on the website doesn't like the serial numbers that are applied to the memory heatsinks and the label on the back of the packaging only has a generic part number and SKU which you wouldn't register. Need clarification on how to properly get the memory registered to ensure the warranty is valid and in place.

I was always leary of this EVGA memory having to be purchased from Microcenter. I don't rememeber where I had seen it but I believe that others had the same problem. I only wish I could remember what the answer was for you.

Contact support with the serial numbers and see if they will register it for you if nothing else.

I know there is a post, probably 6 or 7 months old now, that had this same sort of issue.

The serial numbers are on the individual sticks. They're only 15 digits, instead of the usual 16. You may need to put the part number in manually, but the registration should work. If it doesn't you can call us, or email pics of the serial number and the receipt to support@evga.com, and we'll register it for you.

Will do. The current registration system rejects the serial numbers and you can't get passed that portion of registration.
