Well I moved my surround setup to my rig w/the 960s . Hooked up the cables the same way they were on my 980ti and...no surround  . Hmm , Windows saw all 3 monitors but when I tried to enable surround only 2 of them were seen by NVidia . Dang . After much googling & finally finding the right pictures on NVidia's website you can no longer use a dvi port with surround ! Fortunately I had one spare DisplayPort to hdmi cable to replace it with . Now I got surround . Now to figure out why I have a usb error in the device manager since installing the 631.75 drivers ...
Edit: don't ninja me again X-ray ...

Might as well post on NVIDIA's forum. eVGA has no control over NVIDIA's drivers and it is unlikely that an NVIDIA representative will find your post here.

I just looked at the surround config site, and it shows that you can use the DVI ports for surround with the 960s. Option 5 for 2D/3D surround with two 960s in SLI shows two main displays on DVI, then the optional displays on the bottom DPs, then one accessory on the primary card's HDMI or upper DP.

Where did you find info on the changes?

On the picture I looked at the dvi ports were excluded for surround . It would not reconizse the monitor when I wanted to enable surround . By using a DP to HDMI i5 would work . I used the dvi to HDMI on the surround with my 980ti , 760 and 660 cards without issue . Edit : I only paid attention to figure 1 , it shows no dvi ports used for surround . Use to be simpler , oh well ....My bad . Still confusing as heck though .
