Offers a full 10 GB download of the game engine, as well as asset packs so that game developers and interested parties could build sample games using the said assets.

I think that is really interesting. Learn to code your own game without too much time involved

A bit of a spin. CryTech has been having issues for awhile now. Was wondering who would prop them up. Initially I thought it was going to be Cloud Imperium Games, but now it looks like it's Amazon.

Amazon has really brought some great, and interesting ideas to the table, for their benefit of course, but it's not just for them, it's for us too. Although, they have their "setbacks", but they try to innovate as much content as possible for everyone...(Despite you cannot stream HD on movies from their website.) I have to give them a job well done, even if this doesn't "work", they tried,  and because they care about their consumers.

And who knows? Maybe they know all about Steam being corrupt and milking their sales, and are trying to bring another method for the people, and developers. There are different kits you can buy on Steam too, which Amazon probably knows, and they want people to know they offer solutions as well.

What would get them out of their slump, open up the SDK for shaders, and allowing its customers to do what they want with the engine. As well as a massive campaign to improve their documentation.
