Hi,

I experienced system instability (random freezes, irrespective of system load) with a VGA SuperNOVA 1000 G1. The system performs without any issues with a different PSU.

Are you aware of any issues in relation to the particular PSU, in association with Intel i7 5820K CPUs and/or ASROCK X99 WS motherboards?

In the technical specifications of the PSU, EVGA clearly states that it supports Intel's 4th generation CPUs. Specifically, it claims it's "Ready for 4th Generation Intel Core Processors (C6/C7 Idle Mode)". Here's the relevant document:

However, I found an old press release from EVGA, containing a list of models supporting Haswell, where the newer model (G2) is listed, while the G1 is missing:

Why is that?

Thanks and regards,
Nikolaos

PS. Just noticed that the forum automatically removes the URLs to the eVGA web pages.

You have to have at least 25 posts on this forum to post links. Post the links again without the http or www part.
