Hello Forum :),

today i was playing overwatch when i first got a complete system freeze and had to reset.

I didnt think of anything at this point. I started the game again and almost instantly got a hang again...
After resetting the drivers didnt load. So i just reinstalled the system as a driver reinstall didnt help..
But after installing drivers the System just stays at a black screen and i cant do anything.
After rebooting the screen stays black after the loading circle of windows 10.

I guess its done right?

Thanks for response :)

I actually had the same exact thing happen with my GTX 780. I was playing Overwatch as well. The system would artifact, freeze then crash when trying to do anything related to 3D at this point. I've setup an RMA already for the issue after extensive troubleshooting. Back to two GTX 460s in SLI for now (which are working fine).

I am having regular freezes and Nvidia driver resets during playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.  My GTX 780 SC worked fine until it just died flat out, I RMA'd it and since then have been having this problem.  Some posts over at NVIDIA suggest a BIOS flash for someone with a similar problem.  I don't see any BIOS flash options here using the search option.  Is this a valid approach and if so, where can you find the BIOs upgrade utility/file for specific cards?  I'm also game for any other ideas on how to resolve this, multiple Nvidia driver upgrades/reinstalls using the option for a clean install have helped briefly but the error still happens under Windows 10 X64.
Thanks,
Jim

Unfortunately there is no such bios update that would fix the issues you are having. If you have not done so I would suggest to  manually remove ALL driver files by booting into safe mode using a utility to assist with removing ALL driver files such as Display Drive Uninstaller found here http://www.guru3d.com/fil...ller-download,20.html. Then re-installing driver version 362.00 but selecting the Custom(Advanced) Option then checking the "Perform a Clean Install" box just to be thorough.
You then may want to test with various benchmarks or stress tests such as 3D Mark or Heaven Benchmark to give us a controlled result.

Been working this with your tech for a long time now, crashes aren't going anywhere despite every effort.  Thanks for responding but I think I'm simply out of luck with this card.
