No it is not... wait for it to be discounted like hardline since its flopping so hard on PC discounts are coming. I got it for free with my video card, trying to get games in some matches with the low population of players now is next to impossible=/

I bought it for @ $ 30 each and I can't even answer that ? - leaning more towards a 'no' than a yes due to limited content, limited weapons/ items, limited maps, limited progression....etc....etc... Sounds & graphics are top notch , really nice and geek-tastic but after the newness wears off there is just no gameplay meat to sink your teeth into.... very shallow offering

My 8 year old plays it on xbox one and i can't peel him away from the game. I bought it for myself on my gaming pc... i play it less, but i still play it. I paid way more than 30 $ for it, more than once. I would say yeah its worth it.

I honestly won't be buying it even after it gets down to $5. The gameplay just was not fun at all since they made it so freaking casual and CoD like. Which is sad because the game looked and sounded just like a Star Wars game should.

It's not which is why EA had drastically reduced the price. It would appear PC gamers are on to EA and aren't buying DICE products.

Buy at your own risk.
I bought this game at a discount and still feel I got ripped off. That is my fault.
I wouldn't touch their "Season Pass" even if they paid me to.

In my opinion it's not worth $30 at the rate the player base is dying on the PC. Screen capture taken at 9pm on a Friday night (02-05-2016) Compared to BF4 Screen capture taken at 9pm on a Friday night (02-05-2016)

I wish a proper Star Wars game ala SP based was released for the pc or maybe the Wii U or 3DS. Only 2 proper games have always been KoToR and SWTOR and I just finally gave up on SWTOR permanently at the end of 2015 by cancelling my sub. Wasn't interested in going back to check out their psuedo-SP thing they added plus the xpack prior to that xpack ruined the game with the really odd story line.

Years and years ago I remember how many game manufacturers offered a playable demo so you could see if the game was worth a purchase. I really wish they would bring that back so you could make a determination as to whether you wanted to buy the full game or not.

Back in the day EVGA had a MP demo server for BF2. I remember when video game magazines came with a demo disc.

Demos were killed off so that the game companies could force their Triple-A garbage onto us consumers. Hell now they force that beta\alpha garbage onto us. This is yet another reason I prefer Nintendo and indie now more than ever cause they embrace the whole game demo idea.

TBH PC demos aren't really needed any longer due to the availability of game streams and game videos. Before I buy any game now days I go on youtube and check out some let's plays. Not only is it significantly faster than downloading a demo, but you get to see literally any of the content you want too and aren't restricted in what you are shown. Game demos are antiquated and the only viable reason to ever participate now days is if you have a low end system and want to know whether it runs well. Even then there is no shortage of available benchmark data available on the internet for most games.

Fearpoint, I have to say different here. Honestly, do you want to put down $60 on a game where you assume that you're going to like it, and then find out you don't but it's passed 2 hours (steam's rule)? I have been in different circumstances where Demos have been very convenient. Great example is when/how Dying Light was released and people with AMD PCs downloaded the demo first, and saw they were not able to play it until patches were released for Dying Light and AMD until they were able to play. So, sometimes Demos are a great convenience and a great tool to use before making a purchase. I wouldn't really say for companies to cut them out all together. honestly a $60 game purchased, and being unable to play it, can be a huge disappointment for a lot of people until patches are released. So demos sometimes have their benefits.

Literally all the information and more is available to you faster and in much more volume than if you were to take a few hours to download a limited demo. Game demos are truly antiquated these days. As for Steam's 2 hour return thing, 2 hours is nothing. I recently bought a game where that basically covers the tutorial and thus is completely worthless regarding that game. FYI there is huge disaparity between game demos and the retail product which is a completely separate build. Performance and even compatibility can vary widely between the two making the game demo concept that much more antiquated.

I agree with you, but there are still a lot of people that don't do their homework. Know what I mean? I would say that those games that are under $30 or so... it's not worth for game developers to offer demos, but surely I feel for the games that are $60 a pop, surely should offer demos. Heh, can you imagine if Ubisoft offered a game demo for Unity before the game actually launched? Not that they would ever do that though... Money is more important. I think what i'm trying to say is that, if companies are going to charge $60 for their products, at least give the people something that they feel they are getting for free. And maybe you're right, the demos are to only give users the method to check to see if the game will even run on their system. But wouldn't it have been nice to have a demo for the Batman Arhkam Knight. THat right there I know would have been nice to have before launch.
