It's nice to see AVG listed. It's my AV/AS of choice. The free version is on my Windows 10 PC and I have three paid versions on my other PCs. It never hogs my resources or bogs my system down while gaming. I have never had a infection in over five years of using it.

I used AVG for years and it was great but when they went all Windows 10 and started sending all kinds of data, it seemed to have bogged down and I just wasn't feeling it. I went with Avira and use BGP killer. It kills the annoying pop ups to buy the full version or whatever it is trying to push and I don't even know it's there.
When I get someone else's jacked up computer, I use a combo of Avira, Spybot and Malwarebytes and I can usually get rid of whatever they got on there.

I've noticed that AVG is always trying to push their 'PC Tuneup' down my throat with the occasional popup even on my paid licensed copies. No matter what I try I can't do anything to make it stop sending that reminder to my Desktop. I have repaired a few laptops with the Speed-up-my-PC junk on them. One laptop even had three different speed me up junkware installed. You want to know how they're speeding up these PCs? They are changing all of the power settings to put the PC into Sleep mode instead of shutting down. The power button doesn't shut down anymore it just puts it in Sleep mode. It reaches Desktop in a matter of seconds instead of minutes by resuming from Sleep instead of a cold start. Talk about a cheap trick! Try defragging your HDD every now and then and cleaning the junk and temp files if you want your PC running good.

I didn't use AVG before but I used both Avast and Bitdefender, I think, Bitdefender is best for Windows 10, Mac and Android devices,

Bitdefender products have 30 days money back guarantee, if your computers don't have antivirus software installed or it is expired, you can buy it now with 50% Off from Bitdefender coupon page , if you win one of the 5 Bitdefender Total Security licenses, you can ask for refund for what you purchase!

I agree with their pick of Bitdefender Free. Used it for 3-4 years now, never bugs me with popups, no spam emails, just works and stays out of my way.
